It's my birthday tomorrow.
I have no idea why, but my own birthday generally sends me into a melancholy mood. In an effort to drag myself from the doldrums I've uploaded a few things that have made me smile recently.
Hope you enjoy them.
To begin with - The greatest comedy sketch ever committed to film. I've loved this for years.

One from the vaults.
When we were younger the Red Hots were one of the bands that would be on constant rotation at friends houses, etc. I still think they're really cool, but for some reason, this era is the one that defines them for me.

Haha, as a lifelong non-smoker I have to say that there's a moment in the following clip (about 1.05) that very nearly makes cigarette smoking look pretty cool to me, hahaha.
As usual -what a performance from Coltrane!

I saw this film two nights ago and it's really great. Shane Meadows is fast becoming one of my favorite directors. The trailer portrays the film as violent and aggressive but there's really so much more to it than that. If you can track down a copy, do it and see some truly memorable performances.Recommended.

Thats all for tonight.
As always, Stay safe.
