I don't really have many words.
Last month we all went to Nottingham. They have some good nights out down there.
At the beginning of this month it was dance with the devil.
I licked nics face, some bands made noise, there was much drinking and fun.
then the weekend after xraycat had his first solo gig
I am ever so proud.
Nic and I made some photos. This is one of them
it was rather amusing.
Last week we went to London. It was fun and tiring. Aces & Eights played at AKA. The drinks were far too expensive but I bought them anyway. Cocktails all round and that.
On April 1st I started a permanent job in a print room which I'm enjoying very much and the pay is great too so I'm pretty stoked.
It's my birthday next month, I'm also booking in for some more tattooing and Nic and I will be going to Whitby!

i'm so much happier now than i was this time last year.
in every way possible.
it's getting close to the end of the year and that's always a good time to reflect over the past 12 months.
i won't go into it too much cause here isn't the place but the only thing i regret is getting into a ridiculous, doomed, rebound 'relationship'. it still makes me laugh how people just completely bought one persons story.
there was plenty i could've said. plenty. but i'm glad i just kept my mouth shut.
when it comes down to it that whole thing isn't even worth a footnote in my life story.
infact that's the most i've ever said about it.
i also learnt that a lot of people are two faced hypocrites. you'd be suprised who.
the word sycophant springs to mind too.
i couldn't be happier to have so many people out of my life.
in the past year i've done my fair share of stumbling but that's all over now.
i'm really looking forward to 2008, it holds many awesome things.
i've cancelled my membership to sg. it use to be fun but i'm just not an internet person.
when i've finished this i'm going to delete my livejournal account too.
saturday night was fun. nic had two gigs so we were pretty much out all day. there was lots of dancing with my wife and i discovered that my hands are too small to be able to carry two full glasses of wine and a bottle of wine at the same time! half of a glass of wine was spilt. oops.
i love watching nic play. it makes me melt inside. i love that boy so much and i'm in awe of his mad talent.
i have a glass of pink wine waiting for me.

Last night I went to the Send More Paramedics farewell gig.
It's the end of a fucking era.
SMP was one of the first bands that I saw when I moved to Leeds. Infact I went to their first gig and I'm so glad I could be at the last.
They've been the thrash metal sound track to my life in Leeds.
I spent 18 songs stood at the back of the stage infront of a bass amp that was taller than me!
I got some awesome photos though.

In other news I had some pictures printed in a magazine that came out a few days ago and some work of mine with be in a magazine that is out on november 4th.
I'm feeling very positive about my photography stuff and have just invested in a ringflash and a couple of new lenses.
I've got lots of band promo stuff and live gigs lined up and i'm trying to work on more fashion/model stuff.
A photographer is shooting some photos of me next week. on large format film too, i'm excited

last week i was in a recording studio doing backing vocals for my friends band and taking photos.
a design on mine is being printed on a t shirt as i type which is fucking rad.
and matt got a tattoo of the band logo that nic and i designed which is sweet
i'm getting a bro tattoo soon which is fucking ace.
it's representing team cat, haha. going to see my artist tomorrow.

i seem to be having a reat time recently.
the black cloud has lifted and i'm also not manic. it's a really nice change.
i've been spending more time with an old friend (L) which is nice. we went out last weekend and the weekend before. i have also met a lovely boy (N) through said friend. L. and I went to see N.s band play a week last saturday. I won a game of table football by cheating really shamelessly.
N likes cats as much as do, which can only be a good thing.
On saturday I took N. to Farrells birthday all dayer at joesphs well. it was lots of fun. we got drunk, hung out, watched some awesome bands.
Send more paramedics headlined. it was fantastic
N. L. A. and I are going to see them again at the social on friday.
after that we came back to my place and got a bit messy, stayed up all night and sleep until some stupid time then went for breakfast,
I want to list all the awesome stuff i've been up to but i can't be bothered. hah. i think it's good it all staying in my head. it makes me happy. one of the highlights was definatly hanging out at N.s house watching him play double bass. i'm going to ask him if he'll teach me to play the banjo
