Thanksgiving Day. Gosh I just love being in the food business. 800 people to feed, fantastic. At least if I waited tables I'd have made some *crazy* money today, but instead since I am salaried (read: enslaved) I get to work and work and work and work some more tomorrow, Saturday too.

'K. Done bitching now. How was everyone's holiday?

I'm sure that your event is over, but I live very near the intersection of Hampton and Watson. smile It's nice to see that someone else lives near here.

Moving is such a fucking pain.

So I've hired someone to do it for me. But it's still a bitch. I'll be happy when I'm settled at my new place. I'll be near Uncle Bill's and The Famous Bar and a host of other stuff...ooh and Home Depot is right around the corner. Rope! biggrin

Lollapalooza just about rocked my world! What other band besides Jane's Addiction would put gorgeous girls onstage getting it on during an 11-minute song? Yeah baby. love

happy birthday, sista.

Damn, so wanted to see that show, but for whatever reason Lolla cancelled the Minneapolis show downtown. Should've been cool, they were blocking off three downtown blocks around the Target Center and 1st Avenue (the club). frown

Crazy tired. Was in Chicago AGAIN today, searching for aparments, walking in the wrong shoes...(but they are oh so right...dark red wedge sandals, all the right straps, buckles, etc.--Nine West "Lovelyo" for the fetishists) whatever

Anyway. Feet hurt. Must find job soon. Must find place to live, too. How do you get an apartment without a job? How do you get a job without an apartment??...

Another weekend in Chicago, this time checking out neighborhoods hoping to get closer to finding a place to live, and on two more job interviews (one new, one repeat). Being on my best behavior for all these hours at a time is exhausting! So tired... surreal

Staying at the House of Blues, however, did not suck.

As for the question after the last post, asking me...

Just rollin' in from Chicago -- my god, the Amtrak station (if one can call it that) in St. Louis is a shack. Okay, more like a shack under construction. Okay, more like a disaster site.

Guess I was spoiled by Penn Station in NYC and Union Station in D.C.

Good times in Chi-town though: saw a couple of friends, met some new ones, did...

Yeah... the Am-Shak is a disgrace.

It's a damned shame, that this is the first building a lot of people see when they come into St.Louis... I'd much rather give people a chance to hear the "What High School did you go to?" question, before they decide to hate this city.

Hello there.
I'd be delighted if you might explain "sex shopping at Home Depot"I must know.

Greetings and salutations...so, as you can see I'm having a little profile pic difficulty, but this seems to be par for the course. How is everyone tonight? I'm getting ready for a train that leaves for Chicago about 8 hours from now...so much to do! Exciting stuff though. If anyone can help the stretched-out state of my little face on this profile pic feel free...
