So the Bar that I tend at has pissed me off to the max. When I first started there TATTOOS were not allowed to be shown, then they changed their rules and orientation papers so that tattoos can be shown as long as they're not offensive. So I was like, "Sweet, now I can get my sleeve started" so I did, I;ve been working there for over a year now with my tattoos showing (NOT offensive by the way, a large Irish tree on my right sleeve that I started) Now they have told me yesterday that I need to go back to covering them up. When I asked why they said it's because some of the older customers don't really like them.
I'm sorry but isn't that discrimination? Isn't that like saying, oh umm please get me another server because I'm not fond of your skin color. Or not liking someones altered hair color.
This is bull shit and needs to stop. Thinking about pursuing my friend who is an attorney and filing a discrimination suit or at least having him write a letter to corporates HR department.
Any thoughts?

Aiyana Margaret Rose Self is a beautiful little girl who was loved by anyone who had the opportunity to meet her. Born on 3/6/01, she was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. When told that she wouldn't be able to walk, she learned how to run. When told she couldn't swim, she said, âWatch This!â
Aiyana overcame just about every obstacle that looked her in the face and told her, âNoâ She would smile back and say, âTry meâ And one of the greatest things I was able to witness her do, is be an Aunt to our children. Her face would light up when seeing our kids. If our boys were around she was always with them.
She was a light that burned bright in our family, when she would talk to me, it was like everything else around was a blur. Nothing else mattered or existed because you would be so entranced with her love.
On October 28th, of 2009 we found out that she was diagnosed with 2 types of leukemia and immediately needed to undergo chemotherapy. Not even 30 days later on November 24th, of 2009 she passed.
There is no one who could take her place. I had the pleasure and opportunity to know her for 2 years as well as call her my little sister. Our family misses her so much and there isn't one day that goes by, that we don't think about her.
My wife and I are not wealthy people, so we can only do so much. On November 17th, 2012 at Van Vleck Ranch 7898 Van Vleck Road, Rancho Murieta, CA 95683. I will be running a 12 + mile race with 25 obstacles in between called The Spartan Race.
I have been training 5 â 6 days a week for the past 3 â 4 months. But this isn't about me or supporting me. This is about supporting what I am running for.
My wife and I are donating what we can to the Home for our Troops, and Leukemia, Lymphoma Society charities.
I have a friend who owns a printing shop in Lodi and we will be making shirts for Yana's Run. They will be $15 each and he has agreed to donate a portion to The Leukemia, Lymphoma Society. If you would like one please send me your payment with sizes that you would like.
On top of that, I have opened my Paypal account to accept any donations. All donations will be put into one lump sum, and donated directly to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. It doesn't have to be a large amount. It can be as little as $2.00 Every little bit counts.
If you would like to come out and support the run, that would be great. There will be food, live music and a place for the children to play and get muddy.
If you would like to donate through cash or check you can mail your donation to me. The Paypal link for donations is on my facebook. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or if you'd like to join me in this race, at 4amink@gmail.com
This is a great cause and our family and I appreciate any support given. We can't get our Aiyana back, but we might be able to help other families keep theirs.
Thank You

So, my wife and I hit the gym usually 5 times a week, (Mon - Fri) and there is a girl who works the front desk who has just recently begun a large tattoo that will cover her arm from elbow to shoulder. (While showing us her new ink (while wearing a tank top) Her manager or owner asked for her to cover it up by going to get a t-shirt.
This is becoming ridiculous to me. I believe that we have reached a point in our society where tattoos should be accepted as pieces of artwork. I can understand if the tattoos are offensive or have nudity to them. Then by all means cover them up as you wouldn't wear any shirt that has the same type of subject to work. But for #1. It's a gym where she was allowed to wear a tank top until she got inked. #2. I believe this needs to be classified as either discriminatory or prejudice towards employees by asking them to cover their art.
If the employee is well groomed and clean looking with proper work attire.
This is something that needs to get nipped in the ass. So fucking stupid that you would have a gym employee cover a tattoo because it is "Unprofessional" yet others are allowed to wear spandex, muscle tank tops that look like an upper body thong, baseball caps, t-shirts that have been cut up to the point there is nothing there anymore. etc. but PLEASE cover up the black and white tattoo of a sugar skull.

Just got the pics back from my Cool Down shoot. Had fun, def. wasn't hot or sweating while doing them. Great job by my friend Caitlin at shooting them.

I'm stepping infront of the camera again tomorrow for another set. Getting excited. Should be a perfect set to resemble this recent heat wave.

Did a shoot the other day with a good friend. Only it was a little strange considering I was looking at the lenses this time rather then through it. Had fun though. Good weather, good shots.![]()

Summer is finally here. Cooked breakfast outside on the BBQ, (campfire style) ate breakfast on the trampoline and then jumped with the boys with the sprinkler under the trampoline. DAMN I love this weather. Time for an old school pin-up shoot with the wifey with the motorcycle. Yeah!
Makin it short and sweet for the beginning of the new year.
Absolutely can't stand when people feel the need to update their facebook every time they have a new pepsi or had another cigarette. Or.....when they feel a need to update their profile with something like, "Ugh, just everything is all wrong today." or "I can't believe this is happening." Just trying to bait people into asking them what is wrong. I know this post is negative, but on a positive note all these types of people will be deleted from my friends list due to my new years resolution to telling people how it is and note putting up with peoples crap anymore.
There it's off my mind and off to a new year for me
