Finally warm riding weather!!!!!!
Funny incident today. I talked my realtor, who's also a biker, into riding over to a house my wife & I were interested in. He doesn't ride to houses because some people are sketchy about bikes and he doesn't want to mess up a deal. But we knew this one was vacant, so I talked him into it. And sure enough...

Back from the annual trip to Martha's Vineyard w/Stiles and assorted other friends. This year, E. and my brother, the infamous H, finally made it. Ahh. Relaxation.
Now back home to the joys of moving and being unemployed.
Pardon me if I'm scarce around here.

where does your moto trip land you on the 4th?
Hooray.
It's time to shovel another foot of snow from the path to the motorcycle shed.
I hate New England winters

Thanks for your note in my journal about SGMC!
I got 2 motorcycles. One in June 2003, a 1992 Harley Davidson 883 Hugger & One in September 2004, a 1977 Yamaha SX650. I did a bunch of riding. I went to a bunch of events. I really enjoy it. I have my room reserved in Wildwood for the Biker weekend from now until the end of time. It rocks! I will have to post some pics from my time in Wildwood. I went out west for a vacation and rented a softtail and a v-rod. Wow! Desert riding is great. Went to area 51 and the Hover Dam on the softtail. Went to Red Rocks and up in the Rockies on the V-Rod. I also went to Vermont and rented an Electra-glide. Nice touring in the Green Mountains and Canada with that one.
Not sure if I will make it to NYC

Wyatt,
I have been riding motorcycle for about 23 years now. I got my first bike on my 5th B-day and have not looked back. I raced motorcross most of my life till I had to grow up and go to college. I still ride a little offroad when I get a chance. I have a 1999 RM 125 for playing in the dirt. I got into sport bikes when I turned 16 and have had 3 rockets over the years. My love thou is custom V-twins. My father has always had Harely's and customs. I have a 1982 sportster ironhead bobber and I'm working on my new bike. Which is a precision cycles bobber roller that will have a S&S shovel with tons of Detroit Brothers parts on it. My buddy from high school owns precision cycles out of Caro Michigan, and my college buddy owns Detroit Brothers custom cycles out of Ferndale Michigan. We have a biker build-off coming up on FEB 1st at 10:00 against Exile out of burbank CA. Check out the site detbros.com.

We're changng big exhibits at the Aquarium, so I'm busting hump for many hours per day. The next exhibit should be really cool. It's about deep ocean exploration. There are some press release pix here if you want a glimpse.

Okay. I have been riding year-round for the past six years. My motorcycles are my only form of tranportation. I currently ride an '02 Yamaha FZ1, but have a laundry list of other bikes I have owned, everything from GSXRs to a Yamaha GTS 1000 to a '79 Honda Hawk two-speed 400. I live in New Mexico, so riding in the Southwest does mean you can get away with year-round riding a little easier than other parts of the country. I have rain gear for when it's wet, winter gear for when it's cold. I rode across country once and have worked in a number of bike shops at different times, so if I haven't owned it chances are I've ridden it or changed it's oil.
Hey, if there is this level of selection involved in joining the group, I look forward to reading to forums.

I hate seeing my friends suffer and only be able to offer a comforting voice and a patient ear. Sometimes when it seems like the world is falling apart around me, it helps to put something back together.
Thank God there's always something to do to make a motorcycle happier, healthier, cleaner and faster.

The only thing to do with winter is go to parties. Parties make winter OK.
Unless, of course, you've got somebody cuddly to hibernate with. Cuddling and hibernating makes winter OK, too,
Damn!

Ive been riding for about 8 years. Ive owned five bikes. An old GS650, An EX250, FZR600, CBR600, and 00'GSXR750 (favorite, sole transportation for about two years and my part time track bike.) I dont currently have a bike but am in the market for some kinda sport/standard, mabey a VFR750 or some kinda cruiser (Shadow 750 A.C.E mabey). I am a motorcycle technician with four years experiece on all Japanese makes and Triumphs. Been to too many races to count including The Daytona 200 (as a pit member for a priveteer) and Leguna Seca. I fucking love bikes! Hope this approves my application. Reads kinda like a resume.
~cheers
I am currently riding a new Ducati GT1000, red, with termignoni pipes. I have been riding since 2000, but had to give up my bike when I wnet back to school, so I have only been back on since last september. Wheezy E can vouch for me. Hope that helps. If you have any more questions.
