Story of the day...................
Greetings Everyone!!!
I think it is time to take down the last blog since it was pretty deep.
As some of you have figured out, it has been a bit of a rough time here in the last few weeks.
First off the family has been dealing with a loss Pete's sisters ex husband (whom she was still close with) passed away last Monday. I didn't ever get to meet him personally but I got to hear stories of him and he seemed like a very nice guy. It was somthing that everyone was preparing for since he was battling cancer but it still doesn't make things easier for anyone. I have been more concerned for my sister in law as well as niece and nephew I have gotten quite attached to them and it hurts me to see them going through such a rough ordeal. Needless to say, Christmas is pretty much not happening this year for the obvious reason. I completely understand why and just hope that they are able to start piecing their lives together and slowly push onward. It was decided way before any of this happened that we weren't going up to Canada for the holidays, and how it looks like Petes family will be heading to Oregon to be with his sister and her children. I think that they are in need of family right now and if it weren't for the fact that we can't count on Petes schedule I would think that we would have gone too. As it is, we will be animal sitting for my mother and brother in laws which should be interesting since they have 7 dogs and 3 cats
....not to mention still looking after our piggies
I have to admit though that it is going to be a bit sad and kind of weird that it will only be the 2 of us for the holidays but now is the time I am thankful that we got my parents a web cam for Christmas last year so I will still get to see them on Christmas Eve when the whole family gets together
Now I would like to take a moment to say that I can truely brag about having the BESTEST friends in the whole wide world With all that has been going on in the last little while, along with a wicked case of homesickness AND having some sort of weird hormonal problem that causes me to cry at the silliest small things I got the biggest smile today thanks to schiavona and K_Rex
Imagine my suprise when the UPS guy dropped off a "little" package for Pete and I today only to discover that they did the impossible They managed to send us SNOW for Christmas This is the latest addition to our Christmas decorations outside of our house
It was the kind of gift that told my heart that everything would be ok in due time Isn't it awsome?!?!?! You should totally go give them virtual hugs and kisses for making our hearts happy again 
If you aren't friends with these 2 then you are seriously missing out on great friendship - and I don't say that about many people (specially ones whom I have never met in person....yet)
Other than that - life is going on as best it can. We went to Disneyland on Saturday with a friend of Petes from school and he was a blast to watch since it was his first trip there Even though the park was crowded, we managed to get on most of the rides The Christmas fireworks looked awsome as well but we didn't manage to get a spot to watch them until they were almost over. Thats ok though since we are heading back this weekend to celebrate our one year anniversary I still can't believe that it has been a year already Both of us are just hoping that the next year will be a bit easier to get through without too many major bumps in the road
On that note I think I will stop rambling for now and let you get back to looking at some tastful porn Even though I have decided not to post my last set attempt, I thought I would use one of the first pictures from it to send you all a special message
I want to thank my dear ol' husband for taking the pictures for that set and perhaps one day if he feels like sharing HE will post some of the pictures.............as for me - well - I just don't wanna do it right now for fear of negative feedback that I just don't want to deal with right now

However, i am a champ at drinking next to a fire in the lodge at ski mountains!
