Today I was Capt. Responsible... I figured I'd finally go to city hall and go about changing my address...two months after the fact isn't too bad. I tromped the six blocks in light snow to NH's cluster of governmental buildings. Walked up to the information minister & was told that one didn't do that sort of thing there...at city hall. It seems changing your info & registration at the DMV is where it's at. The only civic-minded function I could perform was re-registering to vote...Green Party, now going on 7-8 years now.
So...to the DMV I went. Got in all the appropriate lines and shuffled accordingly. Now my registration is renewed and their address is updated. I was even so thoughtful that I brought back forms for AlienPrincess, as well. We'll see how quickly she launches into action...
What else... It's snowing kinda. I think everyone had assumptions that we'd be seeing another calamitous storm. It was just big enough to make me thankful that I don't have to be a work until mid-afternoon & small enough not to interfere w/ Flux tomorrow night. If I don't talk to you before then, I'll see you all there!

I certainly know of winter's last minute kisses. Growing up in Wy, winter sometimes sneaks back all the way into May days. Oregon winters are short and sweet, at least here in the Willamette Valley. Yay spring! Which reminds me that I need to jump back into spring cleaning action. (So. much. mess. Sigh . . . but I will conquer. Oh yes.)
I'm so glad you liked the lovely tide pool pictures. It was even better being there on the beach with touchy-touchy fingers . . . in stari's world nature IS a tactile experience. I can't wait to cmpare dragonfly pictures with you! Whoot!!
I will have to rent the Goonies sometime soon. I haven't seen it in years, and both you and Grooverider have me a hankering to view it again. Teehee! (If you and the Princess ever want to do an Oregon Coast adventure, I know how to get good deals on beach house rentals. Hint hint. )
Dude, I so do not need an AIM screen name. SG eats up more computer time than I really have to give. I fear that I would atrophy completely, if I was to AIM as well.
Give everyone at Flux stari love for me!
