social media posting and the like. What has everyone done in a time and place where reading, writing, posting, and checking responses feels gross? I've been anti-FB for several ages and only drop in to check on those otherwise unreachable. I've mentioned to others that it makes me miss this site when its good vibe posting through the 00's. Has anyone have anything better, more...

The site becomes more and more unrecognizable, which is both good and bad. Anyhow, if you're passing by and see this, know that I hope you're well and the like. Cheers, superfriends!

Lung oysters, trails of soggy tissues and chapped nostrils. That was Xmas - Before, during and after. Good news is new guitar strings, hot toddys and drugs that've broken the fog of illness. Happy New Year, all and hope that your first time forgetting what year it is isn't too embarrassing. :)

Totally have "Even Rats" stuck in my head. The usual cure is learning to play a song, diddling with it for a day or so and moving on. Smiling that it's an old Guitar Hero track and that learning to play it won't involve having to choose Expert Mode. :)

Well-done tater tots and two fingers of whiskey is a surprisingly satisfying shitty dinner.

I'm back through the magic of reactivation specials! :) Excited to see what's new on-site and say 'hi' to old friends! Cheers, all!

Brief update, friends! It's T-Minus 5+ weeks to babytimes and I'm very excited! Fatherhood will be bizarre and exciting and scary as shit and I'm trying to handle all of it in stride. Newborn Care class is this weekend and I foresee remarkable differences since I last helped raise my kid brother 20+ years ago. Wow - Quick flash of feeling old! blackeyed

Hola friends! Dropping a quick note from work. Summer in Portland continues to remind me why I moved away from the East Coast - The high this past month was 87 and un-humid at that. On average, it's been chilly in the morning, warming to a balmy 74 or so. I know, tough stuff, huh? whatever

Allergies are the worst in memory and now continue to...

Hello friends! This Oregonian hopes you're well. The last posting was two weeks before a nice car-totaling head-on accident. Fortunately, I was fine for the most part though, it's left me on the sidelines of things I care about - Setting up our new house, competing in the new men's roller derby league I helped start, making babies, etc. This happening now nine months ago...

What up, my brother! Wow, glad to hear you're alright from that crash. That's some scary sounding stuff. Congrats on the promotion; I hope they come to their senses and start adequately compensating you. wink

Boo!

Almost literal year since last post... But, that's a good thing. Currently enjoying Week Two of Homeownership. 13 months from unemployment to buying a house is certainly bragging rights.

I'd like to say more, as always but, I've got a couple of projects (dinner) before the Mrs comes home...

When the system renewed my membership a couple of days ago, I was glad and...

I am embarrassed to say this, but I've never seen Hunt for Red October or Crimson Tide. Or, Shawshank Redemption or The Green Mile. All four are "guy" movies. Wow, I've got to work on seeing those. wink
