It rained this morning but, the sun's out & windows are open once more! 
AlienPrincess & I made the trip to the Post Office to pick up her undelivered parcel from Great Britain. It was books and a four CD set of JRR Tolkien reading excerpts from his books.
While riding around town listening to them, I was crawling in my seat... The CD's were horribly mastered!
I had to turn up the volume most of the way in order to hear anything. And even at that, there was extraneous hiss & Tolkien shuffling papers and moving his chair around. *goes back in time to punch a dimwit recording engineer* So, I imported everything in a li'l remastering suite I have...normalized the volume, got rid of analog tape hiss & punched his vocal in the mix a little better. Now I'm a hero!!! Well, at least to myself...AlienPrincess doesn't care about any of it, she's just tickled she got a package from Britain. 
And now, lunch and odd bits of paperwork from work.

hahahaha, i would be impressed that you had done such a good job remastering it but i would prolly be on alien princess' team with the just being excited that i had recieved a package, let alone one from great britian but girls are weird that way
