your art is awesome. I've been wanting to draw some of my favorite sg pics as well, but i don't have a printer and drawing from a computer screen seems awkward. Do you print them and then draw them, or do you work straight from your moniter?

on the subject of kill bill, i haven't seen it, but i recently drew a pic of the lovely uma. (check out my pics folder if you want to see it)

Your drawings are amazing, how long did it take for you to get so consistently good at it?

Man, the Devil Rays don't look half bad. Splitting a series with a team that has a salary 6 times your has to count for something.

i got home from work and had all these big plas for what i was going to do (work out, draw, clean) but i just ended up in front of my computer with a beer... damn i suck.
dizzy:
sitting in front of some sort of monitor with a beer seems to be all i do myself. Unless it's at the job, in which case... no beer.

Lethargy sucks. Big time.

dudes.. i am on a roll. i did TWO drawings this weekend. and they aren't that bad after all.

i listened to TMBG's streaming radio all day. they have alot of songs, but it is on a loop, and you still hear the same songs after a while. "pony tail" is a great song. also, there is this one about picking oranges during the day,...

Dude thanks! I love the onion I'll check it out right now.
When it comes to lyrics, the modest mouse is really hard to beat. Some people don't care for their eratic sound, but if you can relate to Isaac's world view they'll be a favorite...he's a master of expression.

I'm reading this book "A Short History of Nearly Everything", which is remarkably readable, despite being a broad summary of natural sciences. I am just reading it for fun, as I am not in school anymore, and didn't really take any science classes when I was...
It is basically a bunch of stories about how alot of important ideas came to be, and the people...

i forgot how great city of lost children was... just watched it for the first time in like 3 years, and it has to be one of the top 5 movies of all time... maybe i'll go rent delicatessen again...
sonicjunky:
Never seen it. Leonard Cohens a trip! Never would have expected that style from a composer. I'm just starting but his style reminds me of the beatnicks...stream of conciousness. Bizzarness, but good
sonicjunky:
Yeah that's the thing with all us poor working saps. It's such a trap. You earn your living and you get the ball and chain that comes with it. " workin' for a livin' or livin for work"? I always think about loading a few things into a truck and just leaving it all...but then it probably wouldn't take long befor I degenerated into full on hobo, and that's scary.

awwww, just give me a sailbaot somewhere the water is warm and the surf is good and I could probably live with less than than 20% of what I spend now to stay afloat.

Jeez, sory for all the cliches.

well the citris grove sounds cool. I know you have a brother in SD, so if you ever take a break and come down here you gotta friend too. We'll go down to Baja, drinks some beers on a bluff bar and take it easy!

Man!! your fan art folder's lookin' crazy good. The batmonkey too! The colors are perfect. I've been using a lot of purples and greys lately...in fact today I'm working on a monochrome purple/grey thingy.
I've aborted doing anything of detail lately in favor of intensity and speed!!....basicaly eye catching garbage that's alot of fun to do.
maddy:
i love your art work...your drawings are amazing...you inspire me to get back into drawing

ok.. sorry about all the not posting or anything. I have been pretty busy with work and stuff. I get home at like 6:30, and am tired and don't want to do anything, then I have to leave by 7 in the morning, so i go to bed at like 10. it sucks. i have American Splendor on DVD that i just got, and have...

Work is the evil enemy of creativity!!! I hate it, and I'm self employed so I only have myself to hate for it!!!

What do you sell on ebay? I've heard about people running their entire buisiness there, ya know sell a few things and the next thing they new they were quiting their jobs.
