Right, just three of your Earth months between posts then is it? Okay. Well, in my defence I have been travelling interstellar space at uber-light-speeds, which means only a few weeks have passed in my time. Peer closer: cant you see the vigour of my skin? Thats because it is still May to me. Henyway, the interstellar stuff is under control and you shouldnt be...

It is Monday. I have had much to drink this weekend. I ate food under a tree with people.
You all know who you lovely folk are.

That is all.

This update is dedicated to the hard working men, women and others of the Yorkshire coal mining industry. Their latent racism, homophobia and mental simplicity are lessons to us all. Owzat, tongue Yorkshireterrier

Ah, Reality, you silent bastard: what are you doing in my dreams?

Not being an overtly religious person, it is hard to put my finger on that which I accept as an article of faith. Pushed to the limit, I might reveal that, on the majority of days, if fully awake and not too intoxicated, I believe that there is an objective reality. And while...

Not like I've kept my Leeds festival band on for weeks upon end or anything.

I would suggest that we are married to our realities- an arranged marriage at that.

Great stuff. :-) I would have to agree about the marriage to reality...but not the arranged marriages. I think we create our own realities...even when (perhaps especially when) that creation may be in stark contrast to the realities those around us see us married to...whether created unto heaven or created unto hell :-)

Right, I don't want to get too heavy with all this but I feel I should be pointing out, what with the software patent laws being dragged by the neck through Europe at the moment, the words of Adam Smith:

"The proposal of any new law or regulation which comes from [businessmen], ought always to be listened to with great precaution, and ought never to...

Hello stranger. First post, first post... what to say? Well, I'm here providing moral support for a little friend of mine called Leola - she's under members for now, but one of these fine days that photoset that her picture comes from will be posted and she'll be a full on SG! Woo hoo! And which lucky sonofabitch took those photos? Hell yeah! Sometimes I...

Thanks - I thought I did a good job of picking the *prettiest* pics. I'm not sure if there's a name for it, but I managed to capture the "money shot" followed by a "choking shot"... So for every good photo, there's a behind the scenes photo, that just blows the illusion of the leather-clad Fonzy, and reveals us as the clumsy dorks we all are. biggrin

I stayed at The Pavilion "Glam, Fashion and Rock & Roll" hotel in Hyde park. Some crazy regular tried to offer me *stuff* within the first 5 minutes, before I'd even finished checking-in. That's room service for you...

And don't forget to get a few swords and hats to go with the bed of course!

It took me an hour to get back, in which I broke a fair number of public transport regulations. biggrin
