Right - Wednesday - it's time to update this journal!
And immediately my mind goes blank. Oh man.
The weekend was wonderful - you can tell that by the last post. Excellent indian food with Anja and finklestein and wonderful eating mates there! I got to meet new people (yay!) and see already known people (yay!) and borrow a book and magazines! The next day was my first time at ceramics class (ooooh clay!! and I made a vase that stood up about 6 inches!) and then spent the rest of the day showing my friend Berkeley and all the lovely spots around here. Ate a couple of times, shopped a bit, rested for a bit, messed around, ate some more, talked ... x 2. About the same the next day without the shopping.
Took him to the airport around 6. All in all, an exhausting and enjoyable weekend. Can't wait for the next time.
And this week has been impossible to concentrate on. We're at the end of the product we're putting together and well, we've gotten to the bit where it's all the little stuff to work on and it's just fixing stuff. It's no longer the big picture to work on but the little fiddley bits Not quite what I like. But thereafter should be good for going on to the next project.
Halloween should be fun though I do need to find out whether my jester costume still fits! I like my jester costume. In Boston (where my parents live and I still have a good amount of my stuff), I have a jester stick with bells on that I bought at a renaissance fair in germany. An awesome fair in Salem (near Baden Baden) and a wonderful jester stick! I love that thing. It just brings up such good memories.
Enough memories for now!
