Sci-Fi Con Update: So I geeked it out and had a great time. I didn't stay around for the social/dance last night as I'd reached my social interaction saturation limit and was fast turning into a crusty hermitgnome.
I found some teensy little devil duck pencil toppers and bought a rainbow of them for surlyclown. I went to the charity auction and although I was outbid on a Wes Craven autographed dvd of New Nightmare, I did manage to wrest an autographed photo of Jennifer Connelly from other potentially creepy con-goers.
I bought it for surlyclown. Really....
Ok, so I bought it partially for me. Look at the woman. Do you blame me?
That's not the photo I got. The one I've got is a much younger, black and white publicity shot where she looks very demure. Actually, that's part of my attraction to Ms. Connelly: the contrast between the ethereal demure side of her beauty and her voluptuous earthy sensuality. Yes, I'm creepy too.
Which reminds me, how many of you think Dark City is *seriously* underrated? I must remember to pick up the dvd one day.
I may go back to the con tonight for the post-con Dead Dog party. I may just hermit in my apartment and play Oblivion.

Much easier to invite everyone to a party. And since you have eloped you will piss everyone off, but once they know that they are all pissed that will council out and everyone will be glad that they have been invited to a party
(I am doing a physics course presently)
Elle and I did that, but in the end we had a wedding at Chteau Montebello with 12 guests, some immediate family some friends, but they were sworn to secrecy, although my 7 year old at the time sorta let it slip.
Everyone was in a forgiving/party mood for the bash. We got over 200 bottles of wine as gifts!
O if Jennifer Connelly asked me to marry her I would, then move to Bountiful B.C. to live with her and Elle and with Winston Blackmore and his many wives
