Thanks for the supportive words, and the interesting command to feel better hahaha I'm starting to feel better. Sometimes there are just those shitty days where everything goes wrong and I feel like garbage...usually by the next morning I feel better. Like today for example! I felt like complete and utter garbage yesterday. I was so stressed out and confused with so many things...today I no longer care!

thanks for your advice on my rattie. Yeah i'm feeding him pellets as well as mixed seeds (he LOVES sunflower seeds...) as well as fresh fruits and vegies. I think you might be right about him just being a laid-back boy, i've had him for just over a week now and while he has perked up a bit and likes to explore a little, he mainly likes to just snuggle up with me. It's so cute

It's funny how the weather has suddenly changed this week. Last week I was wearing three layers, and now it seems like a distant memory. I hope it lasts.
I'd like to meet you, of course, and you really should come to Gala! It will be a good way to overcome your self-professed shyness, and I'm sure that you will have a really good time. I remember going to the event in '05 and being surrounded by a ton of people that I didn't know (I knew a few people, mind you, but not very many), and I left that evening having really enjoyed myself. I also came away with a few new friends and a great desire to become even more involved in the local SG community.
So yeah, you should be there. Or else.
