Sure. It's on!

Big D is an amazing band. My friends Steve plays bass for them. They're coming to T.O. in December. I haven't seen them in over a year, and missssss them!
radiofrank:
Huzzah for sideburns! And bowling! biggrin

I'm thinking that bowling will bring the group together again, and that this is the first of many fun evenings for all of us. I'm really looking forward to it!

I got a 90% on my Digital Electronics test.

I've kicked Boolean Algebra's ass, and it is now my bitch.

That is all.

Cats 'n Kittens,

A fact about my fine self...

I often make people feel uncomfortable because I either talk about how a) great I am or b) much of a piece of shit I am. I don't mean to, but people make me uncomfortable, so I either bring myself up or put myself down compulsively. It's weird. It might be why I have NO FUCKING...

hello!
radiofrank:
I can't say that I had any particular politician in mind when I posted that, but I also can't say that I disagree with your choice. Ha.

It's not just you, either. One dimensional people tend to get boring quickly, and it's never a good idea to let one's job consume one's life. So, by that definition, I'd still say that the SGTO people are fairly abnormal.

Which means you'll have a pretty good time. biggrin

Cats 'n Kittens,

So no operation for my little rat! Yay! He has a lipoma (a tumor made entirely of fat), and they tend not to cause problems. So I'm just gonna monitor my little buddy and see what fate brings.

Goin' back to school next week. Feels weird, because I'm really old. But oh well. That life, right?

I'm gonna sell my Xbox 360...

Yoooooooga teacher is me = soothing voice. Ha ha. blush biggrin

I think I might vote for the Green party. It sounds weird when I say it out loud... But that's what I might do.

The Liberals are plain silly. The NDP doesn't have much new to say. And at least the Green party has some good ideas on how to reduce our environmental impact and doesn't believe in privatizing everything. So I'm down.

Huh...
radiofrank:
I'm glad to hear that your rat is okay. Here's hoping that he stays that way. smile

We're still going to see you at bowling, right?

radiofrank:
What will you be studying at school?

My fingers are crossed on Zinn's behalf. I'm sure that he'll be fine.
radiofrank:
Wow, that sounds very interesting (and totally over my head, haha). Considering your enthusiasm for the subject, I am certain that you will do quite well. biggrin

Cats 'n Kittens,

So, as I mentioned a few days ago, I've decided to come back to SG and get back into the digital community! I missed this place, and a lot of the people are pretty great, and I missed reading about thier life, etc.

In the past couple of months, I've quit my job (only three shifts left!) because I fucking hate it,...

Your comments don't neeeeeed to be shorter. Nope. I like them just the way they are.

I haven't killed or eaten one person. <--- And this killed me! biggrin
radiofrank:
Although it is true that most TV rots the brain, I can't help but hold on to a few shows. I'm too addicted to quit cold turkey. wink

The Fan Expo is basically a big science fiction/horror/comics/anime/gaming convention. I've wanted to go for the past couple of years, but circumstances always seemed to work against me. Until this year, anyways. It should be lots of fun.

I'm pretty sure that we're not the only two Mississaugers on SG, so I would suspect that we'd get some sort of response. I would also expect, however, to get a fair number of comments making fun of our fair city. Torontonians can be so jealous. biggrin

I'm back!

I missed reading people's journals and living vicariously throught the internet.

Groups be kinda fun, too!

Should anyone give a shit, I shall write the most interesting journal ever (or not) in the near future.

But now, shitty job time. Thank God I only have 2.5 weeks left!

A'yuh,

J.R.

Welcome back! biggrin

the final curtain...

I'm officially bored with this site. I don't really care too much about it, and I'm not really doing anything with it, so I cancelled my account and I'm movin' on.

So to all on my friends list (who actually read this), and to all the lovely Suicide Girls, I bid you...

13,000 dollars is a lot of food,

Oi! How amazing was this past weeked (if you are from the GTA)?

On Sunday (I was feeling a little bit shitty on Saturday, though I ended up watching hours of DragonBall Z, and that made me feel better. Don't laugh, I have some sick obesession with that show, those movies, and the video games assocaited with the...

Some generic greeting...

I've been neglecting my lovely eFriends lately! Few comments, no posts, no nothin'! Damn me!

Well, I've been going through everyone's posts and trying to come up with witty and introspective things to say (so don't cross your fingers biggrin) in an attempt to at least have a pseudo social life. Damn my laziness and no putting effort towards meeting/talking/tolerating people! I...

Haven't been around much either. Go figure.

It's funny how the weather has suddenly changed this week. Last week I was wearing three layers, and now it seems like a distant memory. I hope it lasts.

I'd like to meet you, of course, and you really should come to Gala! It will be a good way to overcome your self-professed shyness, and I'm sure that you will have a really good time. I remember going to the event in '05 and being surrounded by a ton of people that I didn't know (I knew a few people, mind you, but not very many), and I left that evening having really enjoyed myself. I also came away with a few new friends and a great desire to become even more involved in the local SG community.

So yeah, you should be there. Or else. wink
radiofrank:
...and yes, Josie is wicked cute. I'm going to have to start catching up on sets I've missed.

A hero fights for the same reason a villian does;
To preserve or enforce a personally held ideal.

The only difference is a matter of opinion and popular acceptence.

Thanks for the comment...I use "shiny" quite a fair bit...makes perfect sense.
It does feel like more of an impact, things stick with you for longer.
