I really want a cigarette, but every time I walk outside and get into my truck and get ready to drive to the gas station for cigarettes I end up walking back into my apartment and not going. Maybe it's cause I got insanely stoned this morning on those pills. I should have gone to the court house to file eviction paperwork on someone, but it can wait until tomorrow - it's going to be early to mid-January before the court date anyways, on account of Christmas.
I went to Barnes and Noble last night and bought three books. "The Once and Future King", "Second Generation" (the Dragonlance book), and "Children of Dune". Before noon I'd read over half of Second Generation. Unfortunately, it's one of those Dragonlance books that's a collection of short stories. This pisses me off to no end because the first story was just fucking AMAZING and now I'll never get to find out what happens. I hope they continue it into a series of books, as they usually do with Dragonlane. God, I'm such a fantasy book geek this year.
I think my second favorite tenant is going to give notice tonight. Fucker. He's not very understanding that it takes a while to get outside contractors to do work on houses this time of year. See, he needed some work and I said I'd get it done soon, but then my Grandma died and I kind of just disappeared for a while. But once I stopped drinking and got back to work, he had just proposed to his girlfriend and they went out of town for a long time. Now, I don't have a key to their place, so I couldn't get in. I told them to call me to do the work whenever they were ready for me to do it and they never called. I just hope he isn't an asshole about it - but I know he will be. This one, for sure, will end up in court.
I went to Home Depot last night to buy a refrigerator for one of my properties and my check was declined. I checked just now, I have over ten thousand dollars in my business account, and somehow this three hundred and fifty dollar check didn't clear the fucking bank? Well, I'm going to be on a war path when I go into the bank in a little bit. Bank of America sucks. Seriously. Every single thing that could have gone wrong since I've started doing business with them has gone wrong. Every single thing I could think of, and somehow they even managed to find a few things I didn't even know COULD go wrong have gone wrong. They are a horrible bank. I'm thinking of moving my account to Wells Fargo or something.
Well, I need to check on some stuff. Have a good evening people.

Have you ever bounced a check and not cleared it up immediately? If you had anything go into collections, there may still be a flag on your account. Also, sometimes BofA puts a hold on large deposits and out-of-state checks to make sure they clear. It's a safety precaution for them. The trick is to tell the bank that you want it available immediately. Also, if you have a check card, it is more likely to go through. I've had problems with BofA myself, but still bank with them because all the big banks operate in similar ways. Ask SonOfMorrissey, he works at Wells and had a BofA account until very recently.

I think I am going to start a Dragonlane Group, for all us fantasy geeks out there.
