I want to add some more entries to my page..to kinda bullk it out more. So I'll post some random poem snippits from my journal that I haven't had the time to finish for whatever reason...
"sea so sloshy"
alcohol stinging down pipes like disinfection
for the mind and bubbles for the soul,
in a sloshy sea i float
in my warm inhibition marked instability.
i like to float on the stuff i drown in,
let the sloshy sea dictate
the wave and heave of my appendages
dangling all around my torso,
all out of control like the pitch in my voice,
rising above the sinking of my mind,
while Im all encompassed in a prison
swaying like algae in this sea so sloshy.

....I wrote that after being able to drink again for the first time in a good while. I had turned 21 right before my surgery, and because of the amount of pain medicines, I couldn't drink. (Which kinda lead to the previous post I'd wager) and so now that I am off half of my meds so far (woohoo! I'm kickin some ass) I could reward myself with a beer! (yes that is singular, I still have to take it slow) Anyway this came of that welcomed return of state.
Ah, it is almost midnight, and I must get up early for class tomorrow. I got a couple pictures of me uploaded though, and one joke (you'll know it when you see it)..There is still much I want to do. I want to post a few more peices, and a bunch of pictures of life out here in south-rural Texas (we have the most kickass sunsets out of any state!) and anything else that catches my eye.
I enjoy the creative community here, and I see a lot of skilled photographers and writers and such, which is in turn inspiring me to branch out even more. After all, I have the eye to spot beauty. And "beauty is inspiration."... so I have a never ending well to draw from.
