HELLO?!! aren't you in toronto? i am watching the news since i dunno when and that power out is freaking crazy! i mean, just watching the pictures from up and down the east coast- it is quite surreal...the guys i'm hanging out with have forced me to let them watch something else so i am looking around the net to find live or updated info- but i hope if yu are in toronto or anywhere affected in that area that you're doin' okay....and that you got home okay... if you live there...

i understand alot about the friend possibly having anxiety issues...both because of personal experience and friend's experiences-and how usually someone (or myself) can get through tough tuff shit but sometimes get consumed into the whole cycle..and i definately know about not wanting to go to doctors who will just hand you drugs- prozac, wellbutrion, zoloft, dinomiatiazin (okay okay, i made that one up, but it sounds like kind of a fun drug to take) the whole rainbow- when i was younger i had problems with taking something that i did'nt know was going to do to my head but if your friend can find one that works-and i know how frusterating that hunt can be when you keep having to try different stuff- but if it is a chemical problem, well, it might be worth doing. the selective seratonin reuptake inhibitors (ssri's) have had the best effect on me- mainly zoloft and paxil-just in terms of keeping your thaughts from cycling and mitigating whatever little chemical mechanism is making your brain function like that (have you seen that zoloft commercial with the sad little bean-like creature bouncing along, all sad and sighing to himself- and then they sshow those little diagrams of i dunno, your syntaxes connecting with those dots going back and forth-well anyways it always makes me kind of smile when the sad little floating bean-type guy is all happy at the end of the commercial like, boucing along and this little bird comes along and is all happy that he is happy-er...anyways, your buddy's definately not alone, anxiety sucks but it does put hair on your chest....now i'm getting all sucked into this show the boys are watching about airplanes-so hey, if you are stuck in the dark- i'm sending the white light over!!

One of my fave recent band stories is how Grandaddy made their real album tapes, then got drunk and made some drunken, shitty-ass improv tapes and submitted them first to the label as a joke.

I was just telling vastad that plane travel is crap, and yeah, dealing with cars is crap too. I got a ticket for not changing my emissions sticker and they not only fined me but revoked my plates so I had to get new ones. How ridiculous. I imagine anything involving cars andbanks is just an annoyance!
