What made you decide to go vegan?

I agree with everything you said except two things:

Sometimes on Headline News they have an entertainment news show and they don't mention Caylee (yes, I know her name.) at all.

And sometimes at like 3 in the morning for like 5 minutes they talk about actual news.

Nancy Grace is the one who is obsessed with that girl. She is being downright stalkerish about her. I would never want to dump her.

I could go on all day about Palin. It still fascinates me, although I'm starting to get a little more worried about it. I was able to catch almost all of the major Republican convention speeches and there were so many things said that, while not always accurate, were very "sticky" that I can really see this election going their way. Both sides now have so many weaknesses that the vote may end up just coming down to a popularity contest which is really depressing.
One of the biggest things in our favor is the Ron Paul thing and the lack of a real active Green ticket.

I called my dad a few days after the Palin news broke.

You know how much of a Republican he is. You can't get much more Rush Limbaugh/FOX news than him.

But what he is not is an Evangelical Christian.

He said he can't bring himself to vote for a socialist with no experience, but he doesn't think Obama would ruin the country.

And although he didn't say it, he gave me the impression that he thinks McCain has sold out to the Evangicals and his "losing it" a little bit.

He said that for the first time he may just not vote at all. We both agreed that this is most interesting election in a very very long time.

actually, i thought that I was a-ok until people started telling me that i was "going through something".
i'm not depressed.
i'm not sad.
i just have many questions.
i think i just wanted to see if anyone else had the same kinda thought process as i do. aparently, they don't.
... and that's ok.
