In my town, we haven't even got that! In the main square by the town hall, there is a pile of metal spheres, that when lit, and peered at through thick fog, from about six miles away, still manages to look almost entirely unlike a ย christmas tree. For years, we had a handsome real tree, and then last year, this shitty pile of scrap metal appeared. Now, I have hated christmas since I was a child, but this abomination has even got me annoyed. I'll find, and post a picture of it so you can see just how bloody shite it is.
Most of my friends of my age are diabetic. I, am not. We have discussed this at some length, and the only major differences in our lifestyles seems to be that I do not drive; I walk or cycle everywhere [I cycle about 90 miles each week], and I eat more vegetables and fruit than they do. Other than that, we all live the same sort of lives. Why I am not diabetic... I have no idea, unless it's a genetic disposition to be so. I do feel sorry for my friends, and never make light of their condition. It just might happen to me.
