Recapping: my weekend. It was more bizarre than usual, I think you'll agree...
Reeling: from the sheer tragic-ness of the karaoke I witnessed at the '80s-themed 30th b'day party I attended. Watching my cousin-in-law and nanna-in-law attemtp to harmonise while singing "I'm not a girl / not yet a woman" a la Britney Spears was somewhat traumatic.
Contenting: myself with the knowledge that Freaky and I had the best costumes of the night. My Cabbage Patch Kid outfit worked out exactly as I hoped - complete with Adoption Certificate and signed butt-cheek - and Freaky made such a good Monkey Magic it's almost scary.
Promising: pictures. Soon.
Appreciating: that I'm not as far down the road to old-age as I thought. I've been a big home-body for the last year - not wanting to go out dancing and drinking/drugging like I used to. But on Saturday night, having missed the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras by about half-an-hour, I went dancing. And enjoyed it. So there
