Wondering: where has the time gone?
ribbonsundone:

It must be old home week. I just randomly saw you here. We used to correspond about performance studies. Back then I was arachne. I hope you are well! Your life looks very happy. If you ever check this, know that I am wishing you the best!

ribbonsundone:

SPRAT! How delightful. I hope all is well with you!

Hating: listening to other people's tinny shit-sounding music on public transport. I understand you may want your music loud in your ears - I mean, God knows it'll block out the idiotic conversations your fellow passengers are having and I feel for you on that count, honest - but if I have to listen to it from the other side of the carriage it's...

Funnily enough, I know almost exactly how you must be feeling.

Not that you'll be in the mood for people putting social demands on you just yet, but we should actually meet sometime!

Certainly let me know if you're unlucky enough to travel to Canberra...

conjure:

Oh, I love kissing shots.

Hi, I'm Kate, I'll be meeting you in Melbourne. Is that strange to annouce so simply? Anyway, I saw you in the epic SGAU weekend thread, and thought I'd come and introduce myself.

Congradulations on the move to Melbourne, hope it's all going swimmingly smile

Sharing: some of my students' work. These Japanese kids may not speak English but they have a certain way with words.

Relishing: life in Japan.

That's all really.

Asking: how're things in your part of the world?
kristie:

Oh yes. Thank God for shoes and bags!

What's a typical day like for you over there? Tell us some stories!

Thanx hun, I'll be right.

Keeping yourself busy? Are you doing anything to stay fit while you're over there? That was the worst part for me in Taiwan, I just turned into a drunken layabout!

glad you like get fuzzy... i found it like a year or so ago, and it's been my calvin and hobbes replacement ever since. it's the only worthy comic strip i've been able to find.

i think i found some bullshit retail work... but a friend over here suggested that i get my server's licence at a tafe over here and give bar work a try.. i never conisidered it because you have to know someone to get a job behind a bar in montreal.
i think i'll give that a try.

If you liked Serenity you would really like Firefly. I would recommend checking it out if you ever get the chance.

rawr_ima_monster:

Wouldn't it be great, you'd just like somehow step out of yourself, look down at the office and all the people, reach down and mold it into some kind of clay effigy, and just like "stab, stab, stab! in the face!".
Visualization excercises can be pretty helpful sometimes.
-I am almost 95% sure Japan would make my brain explode.

Wrapping: up another week of work. Done and done. That is, if by work you count having my students teach me origami. A very funny class today. I mean, there is some great, complicated origami out there and I dig it; I was taught how to make a paper crane, a paper ninja star, a paper piano and a paper frog. All of which I...

I went to the Perth Zoo... It was most awesome!

They have been campaigning Project Sun Bear for a while now and the enclosure looks amazing. Should be pretty huge when it opens up.

So you're originally from Aus?

Rejoicing: in having internet again! I've been in Japan for 4 weeks and, for the most part, loving it all. I'm in a tiny rural farming town in Fukushima-Ken, about 3hrs drive from Tokyo. The rice paddies are beautiful, the food is awesome and the job doesn't suck. But the lack of internet for 4 weeks... that was hard going!

Wondering: how...

pretty much, I have moved a few times and my room where ever I have been has always seemed slightly lacking as a place to come home to so yeah I have been picking up a few things to make the place a bit more comfortable for myself.
