Why the name change?

i like that concept for the lawn blower guy in the movie.

I don't have any really feeling about it, other than it might enrich the community somewhat. On the same note, i don't care much, as if i believe it would be art on display for artists mostly. And i don't see the point at all. A few years back i did a show in Japan, i didn't get to go, i just shipped my work there. Turns out there was alot of interest, but i wouldn't budge on my price, because i didn't want to sell. I bring this up in that i think it relates. Do you believe that this would better the community, or would it just propel a few of us into the SG spotlight, which would mean almost nothing other than popularity for the most of us?
I have questions, and i see the possiblities, but i don't see this as being anything more than art for the artists. Which might not be so bad on the off hand, but can be a killing blow to ambition.

I've been meaning to pick up some David Sedaris. He's actually on my list of books to read. Yes, I have a list. I'm ADD. If I didn't have a list, it would never happen. I'd liked The Fat Man in History by Peter Carey. It's on my books list.

Baja camping/surfing trips, hiking, sometimes bars, etc. and it scares me that I can be so comfortable without company. Who will be there to watch/warn me of my decline?
oh yeah! My biggest concern which I didn't mention, is losing my sanity. I'm also a loner. I don't know that any will notice my decline. Oh well.

my ex girlfriend called me today. i always think about her in a much better light than she actually casts. she did however insist that I check out modest mouse. I told her I already had, and loved them.

I put up a drawing of voltaire. I think I am going to stop doing these an art portraits and try and make some actual art (not that those drawings aren't any good, but they are more like an exersize than real art).

crystal days...sometimes, while creating something artlike, 14 hours can easily pass without even thinking about food or anything...it's pretty selfish, but when there's nothing but me and it, it can be pretty blissfull.

I want that.

see now, you went and broke me. I've been palying my Modest Mouse cd's all night and day..... and i can't stop.

Painter is fun, and you can do some really kick ass stuff with it. I should use it more, but I find photoshop easier for some reason (even though it isn't as versatile)

the first part seems like you are experienced, and feel a need to teach someone less experienced the right directions, or you have a kind of protective nature. maybe you need to be a mentor to someone.
the second part seems more sadistic, and fun-loving. it could signify a callous nature, which would be in contrast to the first part. Then, you could have this dichotimous attitude toward humanity, both apathy and sympathy, or I don't know what the fuck I am talking about. Probably the latter.

definetly more carefree, loving life, but not taking everything so seriously. This leads me to believe that this is all about the relationship you have with your friends,and what binds you together. I dunno. i could be reaching here.

I hadn't remembered until reading your entry today that one of my recurring nightmares/dreams visited me last night.
Hadn't had that particular dream/NM in at least 5 years.
Oddly enough, right now i can't remember what it was about, even tho i know it well.
