I think the art exchange could work, as long as it was a small enuff group where we could assist each other. I'll post the details of how it breaks down in my head a lil later.

i sell a bunch of shit for this guy who buys it all or gets paid to take it from companies. mostly computer and networking equipment. it's all about creative book keeping for these companies and we make a killing off of it.

I used to Paint a lot with traditional brushes, and still do for fine detail on some of my more complicated Airbrush pieces.
Man, i loved painting in Oils. That was my favorite. But i had slept in my studio/bed with wet paintings. Needless to say my dreams became pretty twisted, and then the days... and the fukkin headaches that would not go away...


...i think i'll unpack my oils this weekend.

Creating a book of your work would be the shit! I know i'd buy a copy. That said, creating a book requires alot of time and energy- Hence the reason i never did it.
Selling your work (prints keep your originals) might work out quite nicely for you bro.

i sell stuff on ebay all day. i dont think art is one of the more desireable commodaties on it. if you were thinking of actually making money off art, then... oh, wait, i have no idea how to, so forget i started to say anything.

Hey there, ended up going to this art show on 30th & Ray. All the galleries were open & they had live music playing in the parking lot. Was pretty cool. Usually I go to Lancers or Live Wire or Zombie Lounge to name a few. How about you? What part of town are you stationed?

...at any rate, if you are interested in getting some comics, read 'Watchmen'. It deconstructs the whole comic book mythos, and turns the medium on its ear, while being timely (and timeless) and topical. not to mention, it is cool as hell. also, scott mccloud books ('understanding comics' and 'reinventing comics') are great reads, which deal with not only comics, but visual storytelling in a fun and enlightening way.

write the book. you already have the basis for a story with these characters, all you have to do is put it together. I'll buy a copy. will it be for adults? there's no limits on that shit

my brother lives in Carlsbad, which I guess is pretty close to Sand Diego. I went out there once, CA has some really beautiful scenery, and the whether seems great.
Glad you dig the new drawings... I liked the results I was getting by just doing it really fast, rough and sketchy, so I have been sticking with it. Sometimes when you just get in the groove, it is really fun. Most of the time, I will get bored pretty quick, and then not draw for a while, but I drew for all of saturday, and then like 4 hours yesterday. I just turned on some music, drank a bottle of rum, and drew...

Theres a monthly artshow here in LA called Cannibal Flower
that i think your work should make an appearance. I did a couple of shows on and off there for a couple o' years.

It's a group show, usually showing anywhere between 30-50 artists at the same time. And it's always a big event.
