I've held off from making any New Year's Resolutions for 2014 until today. Every other year I make resolutions on New Years day, like a normal person, then a week or so later I'd need to go into work at 4:45 am for inventory which lasts three days and would disrupt all attempts at starting a new routine and result in me giving up on most, if not all, my resolutions. Those of you who haven't had the pleasure of taking inventory at a retail store I highly recommend you skip it. Even when don't need to be in at 4:45 the process of scanning every piece of merchandise in a given part of the store is mind numbingly tedious. Anyway I decided to wait until after inventory to make my resolutions so that I won't have the easy excuse of being tired form work to just give up on them.
