the exodus from Davis has begun, every year once people graduate they flee Davis as if it is on fire. It is weird for a college town to have such a small population of people who are not in college but are still in that age range. And that is one of the reasons why it is so hard for anything fun to last here.
Which is why last Sunday was the last Rock It! ever, I had been doing the night for over a year and a half, and felt that now it was time to end it. It had become more work than fun for me most times, and once that started happening the whole experience went downhill really fast. I am not sad per se, but it was a big part of my life that is now gone. It is going to feel weird to not be "that DJ guy".
I guess it is time to move on.
