I have not updated for a month. Real life has been a priority--as opposed to internet-life.

Things are good. My girlfriend's house is finally coming together. The outside is was clean enough this weekend to invite people over for a BBQ. smile Cleaning up for this BBQ was good. Now the place is pretty much ready for our BBQ on the Fourth. My parents, my brother...

Gwen has gone to the Strawberry Music Festival and I'm pet sitting--7 dogs, (3 are hers, 4 are pet sits), 1 cockateal, 5 ducks, 7 chickens, 1 rat, 2 koi. I have been enslaved by ducks, I tell you! Enslaved by ducks. smile

Nearly three weeks? True, it has been. The most noteworhty event sense the 26th would probably be going to Canoga Park, CA to visit my brother on the 29th. Quick visit, and good.

Well, I changed my mind. It was such a beautiful day here yesterday that I decided that I didn't want to spend it inside an aquarium. So we had lunch, at a restaurant, with garden-seating, of course. And then we drove up the coast to go to a beach north of down. Then Gwen and I had sex on top of a high rock in...

Damn! Has it been two weeks sice I wrote anything? Well, life is good. Nothing too noteworthy, but good. Went to visit my parents, my brother and his fiance last weekend. I get along with my family. Which is great. Makes for boring journal entries though. smile Gwen got a puppy. Very cute.

>I am facinated by spiders. If I every find one in my room, I try to capture it alive and release it outside. I think Colin Tudge put it best, "Spiders are the reason everyone knows the name 'arachnid': so conspicuous, so various, so ubiquitous, so charming, so sinister, so clever. The spinning of a web is one of those animal achievements that take the breath away, like the leap of the dolphin and the fall of the peregrine."

I like spiders too...they're just not allowed on my bed. I use to ctach them when I was a kid but my mom but a stop to that when I got a black widow in a jar.
I also love rats. They never get enough credit.
