today I'm doing my domestic goddess routine. Ironing and baking and generally trying to put everything in my world in its right place.
I was horribly, messily drunk last night and woke up this morning wishing that the sky would fall on me and put me out of my misery.... and for a moment, looking outside the window at the great big black lumbering clouds rolling past my window, I really thought it might. A day for staying in and listening to the radio, wearing sweaters and baking.
yes, baking. it's that bad.
so right now I've got a ginger cake in the oven, I'm planning on Brownies after that and I'm currently drowning in a small lake of hot chocolate. There are worse ways to go, I suppose.
