i'm picking up my drums from the practice space tomorrow and paying off the rest of the band's debt. then they will release my babies back to me.

a few hours later, i'll be lugging the basics over to a new practice space to jam with a friend from work. his band does covers from the clash, sex pistols, green day, the who, and...oasis. ugh. but anyway.

i fucking love playing covers. i always wanted to start an erasure cover band. or one that does awesome 80's ballads like 'africa', '(k)nights in white satin', 'total eclipse of the heart', etc.

being in an fun 80's cover band is one of my dreams.
