ugh, work has been long and annoying these past couple of weeks. busy busy busy for a few hours, then totally dead for a few more. the best shift so far was actually a 2-5 a.m. overnighter, because it was both over the course of hours that i am usually awake, AND we were busy the entire time setting up a huge show.

"Boatmans Call" is probably my favorite Nick record. it has gotten me through some times....and reminds me of certain relationships as well.
"Murder Ballads" is a close second.
although I fucking LOVE "let love in"...
it's hard to pick. nick is my man. if I died and was resurrected and couldn't be brought back as myself, he'd be my 2nd or third chice

congratulations to FC United of Manchester on a fantastic first season, on both being promoted AND winning the league. it's not over just yet, but they have pretty much done it all. with class. i only wish i could have been there through the entirety of the season to see it. 
it became hot as baaallllls today after work and the a/c in our house is broken, so after my nap (complete with hot weather-induced weird dreams), i got to doing my weight-training for my arms. that got me sweating and into the workout, so i decided not to take the night off from the elliptical and have another go at the Star Trek Basement Gym....
