Simple throw-together for those occasional "everybody from last night slept here" mornings...

To a box of 'Jiffy' Cornbread recipe I added an extra egg, extra 2 Tbl's each of flour and extra milk. Whisk eggs + milk then GENTLY fold in the dry stuff in a bowl and set aside to "slake" --your new word of the day-- while you turn on 350 oven to...

Ive not ever tried corn bread before what isit like?
robertbluesman:
Basically it's a shortbread or spoonbread recipe made with 50% mix of corn grits and corn flour instead of all one kind of flour. If you're not sure what a grit is queue "My Cousin Vinny". I trust Jiffy box brand usually about 50c in most outlets and it's always fresh needing no additions. In fact I calculated total avg US Dollar cost including baking for my recipe is $4 feeding 6-8. Not bad eh? Don't have to run out for fast food and you can still play in yer jammies while it bakes! πŸ‘

finding out a stink bug flew into your Butter Rum candle and infused it with stankness.

Butter Rum now smells like pirate booty - not the famous flavored popcorn - I mean like a pirate's ass!!! 😱

Used to love playing with these when I was small... ^^ ... Now they're not so fun haha
robertbluesman:
No fun at all @indigoeden birds hate them and they've acclimated to overwintering indoors.Β

The top secret recipe for this fab brew is told to have come about on a hot summer's day by the ubiquitous Hunter S. Thompson and his equally inebriated artist pal Ralph Steadman... and the rest, they say is history.

Proudly craft brewed in Maryland's Flying Dog Brewery in the US.

This post is for @misa_ Cheers Gal 🍻

robertbluesman:
Thanks @janinekittyb love! There's a growing trend of crafts folks fusing their talent w "something to do"... Stephie's is to open her shoppe to youth groups, bridal showers, nursing homes, etc, and a little thing she calls "Wheel & Wine" for locals to chip in a group fee for materials and she provides Top Rate hands-on guidance for single makings or group projects. The W&W is a monthly date night thingy - no kids and byob - it has sold out for like ever! So now I'm seeing a local jeweler/rock-hound opening for classes on hand made stuff, and a local brew pub is offering Beer Making 101. But this wave is popping up everywhere it's soooo fab! How's about giving your skills another try, or grow some new ones? Cheers!

The. Bomb! ...

all the realzees like whole milk, fresh churned butter, real sugar, Belgian chocolate, and genuine reduced Amaretto syrup. NO preservatives!

This 8oz grab bag only $1.75 at their outlet shoppe in my hometown.

I'm so blessed up here @janinekittyb - tons of artisan shoppes and a fab music & arts scene

@robertbluesman sounds like a great place to be!!!!! :)
Looks odd w 1st glaze. Clover will be metallic grass green. Background will have tooled leather look w specs & swirls of orange *they look green now* beer bubbles will be glossy green and the mug will be an orange-ish brown with the black you see now turning to a hammered brass look after firing.

Still 3-4 feet of hard pack up on my mountain - haven't seen bare ground for months! Found this lil gal in my local market today... now I

believe there's hope in Spring 🐣

Soooo the SG clock reads 13 06 03 hmmm...

13+3 = 16 take away the 6 = 10.

add the 3 in 13 to the other 3 = 6...

...minus the 6 = 10.

Seems to me that ever since The Weather Channel started giving US Winter Storms alphabetical names like Hurricanes we've been getting thrashed! Unmerciful run of single digit highs and below zero nights - with a record breaking -10 last night - tells me a sleeping giant has been awakened eep! 😱
