Huge life sized memorial to Harriett Tubman and Thomas Garrett as they risked their own lives freeing escaped slaves via the Underground Railroad through Delaware on into Pennsylvania and freedom during America’s ugly Civil War. The new patina protection applied last autumn really glistening in the morning sun.

Presently @headshot here Delta 9 THC is mostly unregulated because it is derived from legal hemp, not illegal or highly regulated weed, which was part of an agricultural bill passed years ago to deregulate hemp farming for industrial and medical purposes. Much CBD is hemp derived too. Right now I can walk into just about any gas station, convenience store, bodega, etc, here and for $10 get a bag of legal (like I said for now so far) Delta 9 hemp buds that’ll blow my head off 🤯 but the high is quickly passed and actually gives me a slight headache afterwards sort of like a hangover - something which I never get with real weed.

Caught this just after dawn under an Amtrak bridge near the Wilmington Delaware station. We’ve had a run of freezing nights followed by mild days allowing these icicles to grow exponentially like stalactites in a cave - some over 3’ long!

Office door of the once wildly popular but now defunct Constitution Yards brewpub and concert venue in Wilmington Delaware. The land use was sold last year to a real estate developer which plans high rise apartments. Kinda sad because that will close off the only open river view along that portion of the Christina 😢 someone’s gonna get a gorgeous sunrise everyday for about $3,000/mo
