i'm not that depressed actually. this is just how it is:

you don't understand unless you live here...
here in this shit of a half-city town...
uneducated, NO diversity
just big enough to cause a stench but yet nothing to do but idle. idle in drugs. drugs that are scarce and overpriced. idle in this terrible economy and dream of what if i had money (independence). but there's never enough money to make you happy in a place like salem. there's never enough of anything.
i can't stand to see the same bums, the same exes, the same bored po's, those kids that spend eight hours at the coffee shop... and i know them all. it feels like half intimately ("slut!").

and so i say: fuck this!

i'm going to california, just like the song.
i'm on vacation. gone fishin'. toodle-oo. the water will be booze and the food will be acid and fungus. soul searching after a long long winter.
i'm pawning the dear violin just so i won't have to see that same fucking bum one more time.
