Sorry about your dear friend there..
20 years is harsh...

I have two pals in the system myself.. I'm waiting for a new address, so I can write to one guy in particular. The letters I received from him before are usually filled with sobering details of life behind bars, hopes and let downs, and the yearning to be released. His personal radio he bought off of commissary is his best friend.. his sole link to the outside world. ..I see the pen as his road to redemption.. its the hard way to that goal. He sees it this way too. He knows he was in the wrong. Selling that shit to children..
Seeing the positives; imprisonment saved him from a dark path during of which He saw a friend of ours murdered.. dealt with shady people everyday... was always on the run. That path would of ended in his own death or the deaths of others by his own hands if the man hadnt caught up with him, I am sure of it..as is he. Now he has found god.. reads everyday.. He overcame racism inside.. and from his writings I see a wisdom I never thought possible from him 7 years ago..

He will be free after Christmas.. Like a man buried alive only to crawl out with a new perspective on life and with a greater appreciation for his own..

I have yet to see farenheit 9-11
My best bud, who is anti-media to a very strict degree, left his home to see it. He never ventures out to see movies..
He liked what he saw. said it can be a bit disturbing (emotionally) at times though.. coming from this guy who doesnt own a single movie.. or a working television for that matter.. is enough motivation to get my arse up to watch it very focking soon.

What did you think of it..?

yeah.. I know I always type up a bunch of nonsensical meanderings in your journal.. . sorry about that, I'm not sure if it annoys you. I'll stop if so.. ?

the deeds of an ocean outcast are never to be repeated, but i will tell you it's something you never want to know. my childhood is out to sea and pirates steal more than just...

by me, a homeless youth and animal lover

the fact of the matter is dogs are very expensive, time-consuming, feeling beings. my pet peeve is my peers getting pets. i love and want animals too, but i view a puppy no less than a child: it's not fair to bring one under your care if you are a)poor...
