Ooo, Yeah. Good thing then. What are you doing for your B-Day then?
bill_the_cat:
Ah yes. I remember my 19th birthday. Which of course means it wasn't quite as crazy as it could have been.
Have fun, whatever you end up doing.
BTW I may be coming down to visit you sometime in the next couple of weeks.

I appologize for the disgusting rendition of "hootenanny" that is unforgivable.
My friend plays a mean ukulele, he could totally rock out with us.
I lie, I never got the hang of the banjo... My grandmother had her grandfathers (my ummm... great, great... aww forget it) and it was a thing to behold.
Sounds like a trip to Mexico would be awesome, Im going all the way to Squamish huzzah!!! 3 hours!!! rain!!! not being able to climb!!!

Yes indeedy. You a fan? It's the only Tarkovsky film I've seen so far. I was slightly disappointed in it, to be honest - I'd looked at the stills a lot before hand and made a film in my head from them; it was better than Tarkovsky's wink Actually, they weren't stills, more like shots taken by a good photographer on set or something; very atmospheric, like the one below. I was sad that the film was different.

I'm a big fan of Rublev himself, also.

That dolphin clip is heart-warming.

eeek That certainly is a lot of info! Thank you. I hope I'll get to see at least one more of his films before too long. (I'm penniless and such).
