i am awful at starting conversations with total strangers, though. and that's a requirement of any solo road trip. any suggestions?

I can sort of relate. I haven't been touched by another human being in 7 years. It's pretty fucking lonely, let me tell you. I cannot even imagine laying next to someone much less being in a relationship again. If someone hit on me, I'd either have a heart attack or look at them like they were nuts. I am such a social retard as it is, but if there's an attraction going on, I tend to actually (not exagerating here) run away. Nice and muture. I wouldn't even know what to do with human contact now. It would prob. overwhelm me and make me freak out, cry or go comatose. smile Sounds like fun to try to date me, eh? Woo hoo!
