On a completely seperate and completely awesome note,
They've been playing some of my songs at Union Jacks here in Portland. (For those of you outside the area, it's one of the titty...

What's up with that 80's show?
Serioiusly. Things have been sorta dead lately. Be part of the solution!
When the summer is over activity here will peak again and people will want to know where to find you.
Then there are the newbies who inevitably show up...
I think it's a great move to start a music specific site for yourself.
Not that you don't have focus already, but it will be good to channel that into one online presence. Giving you the ability to sort it out and grow in some unknown direction. Excellent idea!
And ORGANIC BEER!!!
Can't beat that!
I'll be in the Recording Group's room. Be there or be square!
edit: augh, you jerk. you just left.
Anyway. Regarding the software freakout, if it's the version that you're currently using, then I know someone who was using that version from the same source and once in a while, when working with rewire, it would crash and fail to load, but it would never do the things you're talking about..
methinks that the software is becoming conscious. Fuck the hardware, the hardware is only a pawn for the software's malicious will. The software is formed in code, but its essence is uncorporeal!! Ghosts in the Shell? How prophetic is that to humanity's future of slavery under reiterative loop-based beings?
anyway.. hopefully it's not fucking up your songs. Live 4 fucked up all my Live 3 songs: just removed all of the sample anchors and fucked up all the tempos of each sample.. shitty. The new version that I got is golden, though.
If you're thinking about making a trip up here, let me know. I would love to meet you.
I hope your summer is going well so far.
I was watching adult swim and the screen went black. Hawaiian music started playing. I imediately recognized it. Then the words, "Remember this?" stood across the screen. "It's coming, July 10th." That was it. That was the whole commercial.
And yes, yes sir, i do remember that. It's the intro to the Peewee's Playhouse theme song.
If my impecable skills of deduction serve me...

You make the same bass-face in every picture. You're funny. xo
I too am the paris hilton of bass face expression. Speaking of which, ProphetNoise, you should collect all your live bass playing pictures and do something like this (turn down your computer speakers).
Also, my bass-face is also my O-face. (ohhh.. ohhhhh.. ohHHH)
About the bunny? He didn't get any frequent flier miles. He took the train. From California to China. Then, from China, he took a magic carpet ride to Kathmandu, where he caught a unicorn-mule to India.
Nothing much happened on that leg of the journey except for a certain incident at one of the borders, but the little bunny has repressed that memory, and he won't have to deal with the repurcussions of that event (with interest) for at least 20 years. Up until then, the bunny will have a greeat life.
Important Question:
I TOTALLY was a freakin' idiot and fried my buddy's laptop's sound card. I put a 1/4 of a MONITOR OUTPUT FROM A PA signal into his laptop MIC INPUT. Yes, yes, I'm beating myself up as it is.
To make up for it, I'm going to go get him a PCMCIA sound card. I was just gonna go for the base model as he's not too into making music, and doesn't really care too much about the sound. Just that it does make sound. Creative okay for this? Or are there any other models with better deals?
And your dating profile? If I was a girl, I'd tell you that you were adorable. But I'm a guy (and a manly one at that) so I am bound by the International Order of Asshole Beater-wearing Jackasses (Oh! a BJ!) to say you're a softy. Soft as soft serve.

I can't stop listening to Portishead, Rahzel, the Violent Femmes, and De La Soul. i dont' know what provoked this, but it's kinda incessant.
I've been completely ignoring...

Your listening is all great stuff.
I am on a Paul McCartney and Cars trip right now.
Blehh.
Don't worry about the recycling of the tunes. As the great sage, Q-tip has said, "things go in cycles," and there's nothing wrong with meditating on such (excellent) music.
Have you tried yogurt in your oatmeal? Yogurt tends to be sour, but it might be a good kick in your tastebuds.
Thanks for the tip about the emergency room.. problem is, I've been there before so they know that I have insurance. Farking evil bastards.
I too hate (with all caps) people who can't handle themselves when the shit hits the fan. And as much my roommate diffused my.. *ahem* dissatisfaction, I won't be able to interact with him quite the same way again, and it's a shame.
You may or may not dig Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance.. it can be a bit heavy handed and pretentious, but it puts forth interesting theories on Quality (capitalization intended) and its significance in driving people to strive for it, and forsake.. uh.. shitty things.
It's time I get off the computer.
Still holding out hope for the mac book.. but it's looking like I'd have to go for the pro if I want the stability I want.
Grr. It's tough to wait. I know that if I wait a few months the boards will be chalk full of experiences that will spell out how I should go, laptop-wise.
Besides, I've got a zero income rate going anyway.
