It's Thurday this means that it was an extra early day in at work so I could be on the road by 0500 like Tyrone Bigums on his way to the 5:00 free crack give-a-way. Some where in the mix I had forgotten that I had swapped out duty weeks with someone so that they could do something that came up short notice and totally spaced it. Not such a big deal, take over duty next week instead of this week right? WRONG ANSWER!!!!! I had already started putting another thing into the works so that I could take next Thrusday and Friday off so that I could go take care of some very important business for both the wedding as well as securing work permits for my favorite Canadian. Realizing my error sent me scrambling to try and find a suitable week to take a Thursday off, and it led me down to a week before I fly out, not the kind of a close call I really want to have when it comes to cutting things close. Sure I'm a spontanious person, but when it comes to important things I really don't like having stuff get yanked out from under me. It's sort of like being a stuffed animal that's been tossed in to the spin cycle.
Speaking of spin cycles (heh heh heh) revenge shall be mine... I just have to make sure that what ever it is that I do replace the laundry soap with can be run through the washer with out hurting the washer. FellOnEarth brought up a very important point, I'm going to have to use the same washer too and I don't want to mess up the washer for who ever gets it next. I think that the bleach is still the safest and one of my co-workers has a pool that uses the crystalized bleach so I may be able to do this sooner then I had originally though. I don't know how expensive the stuff is but I'm sure that even if it costs more then what a box of laundry soap does it would be worth it.
Oh well home again and one more day of work left this week... Its kind of weird it doesn't feel like I've been at work for almost a whole week already, but I'm not going to start complaining about it either.

Oooo, very good point. Dye would certainly hose the next person too, and that's the sort of instant karma you really don't want.

Speaking of karma, both Mom and Mak had a very bizarre trip up to see our sister. (And it all hinges around some old suit cases from Kuwait). It's a long story, but definitely worth asking about (it involves flying luggage, car accidents, semi explosions and hotels that permit puppies...) and that was all on the first day! I hope you have a good weekend.
