Some updating:
Been a hermit lately, but I think it's starting to wear off...taking a little bit of a break from the site in order to get some work done at home, so I'm sorry if I'm a bit slow getting around to chat with all my friends...

This past week: a lot of loss...and thank you all who have sent messages to be about my grandmother...she was a good woman and had a hard life, but she found a lot of love and enjoyment, eventually... I will miss her...

My sympathies, man. But time for deep breaths and reflection is good, as long as you don't fall too deep into dispair or narcisism. It looks like my time for that is coming to an end, which I don't mind. But selfishly, the parts of my life that I need to move on are just staying stagnant. So it goes.

I am so very pleased that my friend Katie has finally moved to Chicago...although I'm still recovering from the all-day drinking binge we had on Saturday. By the end of the night we were both hitting on girls for the hell of it, realizing we were both far too wasted to do anything if we actually succeeded.

So it's going to be a week of helping various friends move, some closer, some farther away....
Plus my lil' brother and his wife just left yesterday for Oregon...
Going to have a lot more alone-time, so I bought a bunch of new video games and a new guitar amp. Hopefully those will keep me occupied....
