FUN! I wish you the best! LA is a great place.

Off to Los Angeles tomorrow for a few days. Those of you who know where we live, now is the time to break in and steal everything. The only thing valuable to me is the 16th century (Koto) Japanese sword on the table in my room (alas, the Kashira, Tsuka-ito, and Menuke are missing). The electronics are replaceable, so have at 'em. The books, well,...

Hey, good luck with the campaigning. I haven't read the link, but I will.

I do post a bit too much, and I might cut it back a bit.
(You have an extra http:// in your wishlist link which breaks it.)

Also, I agree with Kestrel and Scopitone. Don't go.

Strangely enough, I am running for City Council in my wee town. Yes, I may well be moving soon (where, oh where?), but that does not preclude a run. I was asked to answer some questions for the Santa Rosa paper. Answers are below. A nifty bonus out of all this is that I was asked to speak about my candidacy at a Camejo rally...

Yeah, that would be great.

No Germans.

(note: sometihng of the nature was already tried in the ill-fated Jaguar group. It lasted about 2 weeks before being shut down. I will say, however, that there are places for the awesome; good places, where awesome frolics and bops off giant awesome mushrooms that grow in awesome poop. Should your awesome reign, someone will surely let you know)

Hmm.

There's a fire nearby.

Outside, ash is thickly swirlingtwirling. The sky is a beautifully ominous clash of pink and orange.

Word is the thermal electic plant may disappear soon.

This could be interesting.

Sunday Update:

Looks like they nailed the beast. The town is engulfed in smoke, which made for a tough morning run, but the threat has passed. Last night, standing on top...

Dilemma. Help me solve it. Read on.

But first, a diversion. I started a group. You'll flippin' love it: http://suicidegirls.com/groups/PINBALL+WIZARDS/

I aim to open a bar/lounge in the near future. Something swanky, no dive bar bullshit for me. Don't get me wrong, I love to frequent most any room that will allow me to drink more than my fill, but the thought of actually *owning*...

10. August 2004

Off to Seattle and Vancouver B.C. tomorrow morning, returning in a week or so. Looking ever so much forward to that 3 A.M. drive to Oakland. I'm sure so many of you here at SG will miss me greatly. In fact, I expect a thread dedicated to my absence. Something along the lines of, "What in the world will we do, now...
