I saw Magnolia Electric Co. a few years ago at the First Unitarian Church in Philly. It was so hot in there that there were actual puddles of sweat on the ground. Jason commented on how hot it was, then took out his wallet and asked for someone in the audience to go buy some water for the crowd. When no one approached, he said "Ok, you don't want to take my wallet, here take this," then took out a $100.00 bill. Someone grabbed the bill and came back 20 minutes later with a bunch of bottled water and dispersed it into the crowd. Jason thanked him, then grabbed a few for him and the rest of the band.
