I remember waking up that day and looking in the mirror and wondering where I was, and who I was and where I was going. Some good people let me lean on them and helped me out of that dark place. They did it with no strings attached, from the goodness of their hearts. I hope you have those people, if you need some more of those people, let me know.

I hope you're okay.

Hi guys!
It's been a while; I finished up (the majority of) my semester and am now back working full-time. I just really don't have anything interesting to update about, I feel pathetic talking about the trivialites of my everyday life.
I don't know. Honestly, ever since classes have ended, I keep wondering what to do next. I feel like time is staring at me,...

Interesting questions!!! How do other people react to my being in SG? Wow. That's a big one for me. I'm a 63 year old man and my wife is very suspicious of my joining a group filled with such young girls/women. My youngest son David, 26 years old, hopes I won't do something, internetty, that will get me in trouble with Mom or just in trouble, period. LIke I'm going to take up with a girl 40 years younger than myself! I try to explain I like the energy in the group, part of me was most alive in my early 20's and it's still inside me. And it's a fun website/community. So far I haven't heard from my older son, Ben, (31 years old), but then he doesn't know what I'm doing. He can be very judgmental but maybe understands where his dad is coming from a little better.
Oh well, I've got better things to not worry about.
Thanks for the delightful, challenging questions. And your own answers too.
All the best,
r-h ooo aaa

Dear SG,
I was in VA last weekend and up north for a retreat this past weekend, so I am SO happy to be home!
School finishes in 3 weeks so i'm at my alltime stress point. But stress=good for getting this shit done so I can graduate.

- What was your first tattoo or body mod? If you don't have any, why not? My first body mod was getting my ear lobes pierced and my cartilage pierced when I was 17, a few months later my toungue. Then it was 2 more holes in each ear, my tragus twice, ny bellybutton twice, my eybrow. Now I just have my toungue 0ga streached ears, and my septum.

I do want a tattoo though.....I just need to find someone I trust to do it.

- Tell me one thing you've done in your life that changed your outlook. Trying not to sweat the small stuff.

-What is the strangest thing you've ever eaten? Dunno...escargot, foie gras, sea urchin, deer, rattlesnake, squirrel. Which one is the weirdest?

It's been nearly a month since your last blog. I DEMAND an update... can I do that? Demand things? Hmmm... I may be just as guilty.

I hope school ended well for you and that things are shaping up well for the summer.

1) I had my ear pierced as part of an identity crises at 15.
2) This is tough... I'm currently struggling with getting older. I'm not sure what I did that affected my perspective - I think it might have been getting engaged, or perhaps laying off some people, or maybe it's just being alive.
3) Define strange? Favourite might've been a better question. I eat sushi often, that can sometimes be strange, especially when I don't know what I'm eating!

Hello ladies and gents-
I have been busier than ever- and it doesn't stop for another month. Oh well, I am only a MONTH away from getting my diploma and solving all my problems.
I'm taking an impulse trip to west virginia this weekend, so if anyone knows of any cool places to visit, please let me know! My friend and I are doing the...

Heya - sounds like you've got some fun planned ahead.

One month away from getting a diploma I understand, but why does that solve all your problems? What kinds of problems do you have?

I'm looking forward to the photos - easter egg hunts are always fun.

I love that you ask questions - and they're good ones too!

Longest drive was from Southern Ontario to Victoria, British Columbia - 5500 Km in about 10 days. It was a vacation - we drove a $500 call all the way there, sold it to the scrapyard and flew home - best trip ever. My fiancee and I will do a similar trip to the East coast for our honeymoon.

I had a true love, but she left me and then, I suppose, I became a serial monogamist? But maybe not. Love is different for different people and more about what feels right and where you feel comfortable than the stuff of fairy tales. I am, however, envious of those unconditionally in love with someone else, I think I was there once, and it ended poorly and I'm not jaded and perhaps never able to go back. Feeling that way about someone is amazing though, but fleeting at best.

Today I solved a work problem that I think defines my approach to my job. Whilst not fully perfected, the opportunity for success and savings is high, and I'm extremely pleased with it. It's nice to feel like you're making progress instead of treading water, or losing the battle.

You ask the questions, but don't answer them. With a "mister" for years but never slept together - is that true love or serial monogamy? And why abandon him for a road trip to West Virgina?

Curiouser and curiouser...

Hope you have an awesome weekend.

Goodevening SGland,
Long time no speak! Let' see...
I got braces put on! Yup, braces at 19. The good news is, they should be off in a year and a half or so, maybe earlier if I keep treating them well. The only downside is that my mouth is all cut up and I slur. Which is fantastic for doing presentations and working the reception...

1. How are you? What's been up? Nothing just trying to get my job off of the ground

2. Have you ever gotten a pedicure? Nope

3. Where did you think you would be today ten years ago? Married and with kids. I am married now but kids only the 4 legged kind. smile

I hated getting braces....and teeth pulled fuck that I had 12 or so teeth pulled 4 adult teeth too. blackeyed

Hope all is well with you my dear wink

lotro:
Bummer about the teeth and braces, but it's kinda neat that you won't have to wear them for long. I think at times men give diamonds and dancing for love. The best presents I've given my partner are the memories of a special time together... wow, that sounds cheesy (but true!).

I am fine. I've been working my ass off and am now hiring some additional help. I cooked a wicked dinner tonight with some friends and my first carrot cake from scratch.

No. I don't want anyone touching my feet.

10 years ago I was 17 and madly in love with my High School sweetheart who I thought I would marry and live happily ever after with. I had planned to go to university, get an undergraduate degree in commerce and then attend law school. I had hoped by 27 to be a lawyer at a big corporate law firm with a gazzillion dollars. What actually happened: My HS sweetheart dumped me, I dropped out of university, and I now make newspapers for a living - I don't have a gazzilion dollars, but I do alright. I'm getting married in 3 months to my new sweetheart (of 5 years) and for all the ups and downs of love, I still think I'm going to get my happily ever after.

I hope it's alright that I randomly commented on your blog, good luck with everything! biggrin

Soooo i've been working like a madwoman, but it will all be worthwhile once I finish school. I'm actually super excited because i've recently decided and started saving up for some kind of super vacation come September when my current contract will end. For this, I need your help! I have nowhere in particular in mind, but I'll only be 20 so I think US...

1- What is your favorite vacation spot? Walt Dusney World. Everyone is so nice and It makes you feel like a kid again. Plus I love the mouse.

2- Where in the world would be your ideal place to vacation? I would love to go to Norway and cruise the fjords also Japan biggrin

3- Have you ever experienced severe culture shock while on vacation? Not that I can think of. My wife probably did when she met me extended family in Georgia for the first time.

Maybe you should try somewhere in the Caribbean. If you book flights now they are pretty cheap for the most part.

fun history stuff........No wonder I think your awesome wink

Busy busy busy. But here's a little update!

School school work work... wash, rinse, repeat.

Weekend was painful at first, then painfully amazing.

I've started meds again (yes I stopped during the holidays) and have lost almost 10 pounds. Ye! My boyfriend has helped a lot too, he's gotten into uberhealthy cooking and taking better care of himself and it's been rubbing off.

My boyfriend...

1- If you watched the grammys, what was your favorite part? If you didn't, what's the last preformance you watched and truly enjoyed?
I thought that the 4 tops tribute was pretty awesome.

2- How healthy do you eat? Me and the Mrs. try to eat pretty healthy. We don't eat as much red meat as we used to and we try and eat a shit ton of veggies and fruits. When she bakes she uses egg whites usually and puts flax seed in all of her breads. She also uses whole wheat flour.

3-How much sex do you have to have to lose weight? At least 2 to 3 times a day smile

We can laugh about anything but not with anybody...

2. No. No one is fooled by the "unnaturalness"...
But still, if a girl needs them... who are we to object ? !

3. Yes, since 1982.
Used to be a pro photographer...

Now, what have I been up to?

I started school today, WOW am I in for one rollercoaster ride of a semester! It should be interesting. The one class i'm looking forward to is my gym class, which is a weekend long nature retreat where we hike, learn tai chi, pilates, yoga, and how to give decent massages. Most people pay for couples vacations with...

So, if there are any montreal chicks out there looking for a roommate, let me know- i'm generally a good girl, exept I want a dog. I don't smoke cigarettes but I do smoke pot on occasion, something I can definitley do on a balcony. I'm looking to find a place somewhere between 300-425$ a month, starting feb-march 2009.

Life is hectic. Christmas was good...

That sucks. While it is nice to hope for a resolution, maybe it really is time to just get out?

Once you stand on your own it is much harder for them to be critical. And at some point they realize that they have to respect you, or you will be gone completely, ya know?
mildots:
Good luck on the roommate search. Sorry that things were not resolved. Sometimes I feel like the odd one out with my family(extended) too but what are you going to do . They are family. whatever I just may not like it wink

Things keep moving so quickly, I forget that i`m breathing. Then something really truly bad happens, and I realize what a waste of time my bitching and whining can be. I forget that there must be more, it takes times like these to realize that there is more to me than where I am right now.

I have been quit smoking for four whole weeks...

1- What album should I download next? Make it good!

I have been digging Rise Against- The sufferer and the witness and Bjork- Medulla

2- What part of you are you the most insecure about?
My stomach. It sounds stupid but when I graduated HS I weighed 117lbs (way to fucking skinny) but that put it in my head that I should always be skinny. now that I am 185lbs it makes me feel unhappy. Although I never do anything about it except drink light beer tongue

What part of you do you find the most unique, stunning?
Maybe my eyes

What draws the line between using your assets and flaunting them?
I can't say that for me but for women as long as they are sexy but still classy that is using them

Men: Do you hold the standards of the women on this site (or any nudie naked model or pinup or misc site) up to the women in your life?

Not at all. All women are beautiful in their own way. I love the women in my life for who they are.

3- What quality interests you the most in a potential partner?
Someone that I can talk to and just feel comfortable with.

My sis loves lush. They sell it at macys too I think.

thanks much sug! biggrin i got them at bettiepage.com go check it out!
