I have no sympathy for people who complain about getting treated like shit when they themselves don't even treat their friends well............oh well, that's life.......what goes around comes around, and then some.

The Guest from Hell

Okay, so I just sent off my guest from California this morning, and I can't begin to tell you how happy I am that she is gone. This girl was 27 but she acted like she was 6. She was no doubt spoiled rotten as a child and thus cannot interact properly with others now. Here are some examples of what...

Last night I did the volunteer thing again. This time I had a brother and sister pair, and I read about 4 books to them. Today I've started work on a demo database for work and I have no idea even how to begin. Frustrating. Oh well, at least a holiday weekend is upon us. I just wish it would stop raining.........

I only removed you before because we hadn't spoke in awhile...and I wanted to clear some people off of it; you got swept in the mix. blackeyed

But. You're back, eh?

I still need to take my training classes for Make-A-Wish...

Thanks for the NYC hello. I did just finish my first year of law school. I also realized that I moved out of NYC two years ago this week....and that makes me sad. I only spent four years there, but I miss it so. So very, very much.

So I've just returned to NYC tonight after 2 weeks in Texas. Vacation's over, and now it's back to work. Texas was fun, despite watching the Spurs lose to the Lakers. I met up with a bunch of old friends and we all went to Schlitterbahn for a day. Schlitterbahn is this really cool water park - it was featured on E! as the top...

I just got back from Game 5 of the Spurs-Lakers series...........arggghhhhhh the Spurs lost on a last second shot - 0.4 seconds to be exact...........and they had just gone ahead on a miracle shot. 2 miracle shots in a row? Great game, but it has me deflated..............

Oh well, it's do or die in Game 6 now.....
Go Spurs Go!

Ok so it's been awhile since I've made an entry. I got wrapped up in work, but I've finally finished the project that was keeping me busy and I have some downtime again. So what to do? Well I'm headed down to San Antonio for a couple of weeks - I have tickets to see Game 5 of the Spurs-Lakers series!

So what else have...

No, it wasn't a bad evening at the SGNY event. I just felt out of it because I had a major headache, and I don't talk to anyone from the group except one or two people on here as it is. So I basically was just introduced around by throatneedle, and that was it. wink

So I'm headed to Texas for a couple of days tomorrow afternoon. I'm taking off straight from work. It'll be nice to get some warm weather, as well as see family and friends.

Hope y'all have a great weekend!

So when is spring going to finally get here? It seems like we didn't see the sun this past week. Hmmmm.......

On Thursday night I hung out with my friend Iggy again. I met her in Soho at some fancy hotel bar - not really our crowd so we decided to head down to the LES and hang out at one of her favorite dive...

It's been a fun last couple of days, although my body quit on me and I slept in today. Thursday night I went out and headed down to the lower east side to a pretty laid-back bar. Met up with a friend, did some people-watching, watched various guys hit on my friend, watched my friend hit on the bartender, danced a little, all good things...

I volunteered at the women's shelter again tonight. I was paired with the same little boy, Randy, as I was last week. He recognized me when he walked in the room, and he was really happy to see me. That boy can really read! While most of the other kids had their volunteers read to them, and only 1 or 2 books I might add,...
