Yeah, so it's been forever since I've posted last. I had a lot of free time during Spring vacation and was on here every day. But with the new school year, and the bustle of Spring events, I don't get around to SG too often now. I'll need to put some energy back into those friendships I was starting to foster here. I simply suck at small updates here and on my public access blog. I struggle with posting something that isn't well thought out and polished. And especially things without pics, since that's the new standard for attention getting posts of any kind nowadays. We'll only breeze through if we have some eye candy.
I LOVE my school now. With 50% more students and just as many more teachers, the whole place pulses with energy. Plus it's my 3rd year, so I've become embedded as the norm. I have been able to mold my students to my patterns and expectations. I'm all they've known so I'm what they are comfortable with. I no longer fight with the toughs of the previous years who were used to anarchy and rebelled against me.
I can't wait to start going to sporting events! My school's girl's field hockey team, fencing team, and volleyball team are all in the top three in the nation. The field hockey team expects to take first this year. I can't wait to cheer for my students and be proud of my school.
Back to ironing. Hanging your clothes to dry is nice for the environment, but a lot can be said for the convenience of dryers and the time they same against ironing.
