...nevermind. That picture was just really gross.

British politics... OK. I think I'll send private email, otherwise the post will be a bit on the big side. Later today, I hope.

Short answer: Blair is a centrist in British terms, a leftist in American terms (as far as I understand them), and tends to the authoritarian. Why he's in bed with GWB I have no idea; he and Clinton got on very well.

OK, sent you some stuff to the address you used before. Hope it helps.

I forgot the party colours. Labour red, Tory blue, Lib Dems yellow Or maybe orange. The only one which actually means anything, so far as I know, is the Labour red, since they were originally a socialist party.

And so, as a mid-week placeholder, I am inspired by Paula Abdul.

What, did you expect me to be a giant or something?

Noooo!!!!
Why does this living require sleep?
Or more importantly- why doesn't inspiration come in steadily?
I was sick today from too little sleep. Cannot do it again. Must wait to do things.
In the midst of my own new work (personal), I found another's song to do again. The first great remake I've conceived of in... like 2 months.
Words are forming for the...

I've been having insomnia, too. I can't get to sleep until at least 1:30am, but I wake up at 7:00 in spite of the late night! After a week or so, I crash out, and the cycle begins again. surreal

The truth faced me today when I spoke to my mother.

If I go to that MBA program in the fall, I'll need all my money to move, and my brother gets out of prison in Semptember. He'll need some help getting set up, and my mom can't do much (fixed income of $600/month), so the duty falls on me.

Saving $500 in 5 months...

If I were you I'd take care of myself first, so as not to regret things later. Get a second or third job if you have to..don't sell yourself short.

It's curious, isn't it. Family is where you go when there isn't an option. Liking doesn't come into it.

Let me know should you need a last resort.

Holyshit I'm wasting my entire night on
www.okcupid.com
and I don't even care about any of this crap. Why?
datsun:

Argh, prions!
Well, probably not, but my brain hurts.

I have an embarassing admission: I love the Dixie Chicks.

I think I found a good job for me, at least until I get word from the Green MBA program. I might even stick with this one for a while. When I came in this morning for orientation the boss lady took me into her office...

it's good to hear you landed a nice job man.

Yeah, you guys didn't want to read that anyway.

I know in my heart of minds that I'm not done with my formal education. Thus much of my frustration- how do I get back?

Well, I'm applying to a new program.

Louys, you should totally come do this with me.

yeah. That degree would work very well for a dual or triple degree individual. Very venture capital oriented, I mean the work would be something built on investors who are looking to put their money into promising new forms of business.

what sort of education are you pursuing at the moment? It sounded like you were taking courses in futurism, the science.

you want to know me.
so I question myself for you.

Q: You're a weird guy, David. My first question is really four descriptions. First, describe a typical day in your life at age 5.

A: 5. That would be kindergarten. That would be Mrs. Johnson. I was the teacher's pet. I was a fuckin hot little tyke. And I could count to 100....

Today I worked under people that likely didn't even graduate high school.

Today I stuffed envelopes. Envelopes full of non-recyclable paper. (yes, some papers, those in neon colors, are non-recyclable).

I can think of about 3 other jobs that would be more humiliating:
working at an oil refinery,
working at a garment factory,
working at a slaughterhouse.

This is what $70,000 of debt gets me....

I didn't graduate from high school, and I'm fairly certain than I'm smarter than most of the MBAs that I work with. It's all relative.

I thought the administrative secretary in the art department might interest you. I seem to remember you saying you were looking for office work. There are other job openings on there as well. I really enjoy working at LC, as far as office jobs go.

I had a dream last night about ...pussy.

In itself that is strange enough. but stranger was the fact that my whole dream played like this architecture documentary. Nameless host was talking to guests about different curves in buildings and how those curves turn him on. Tom Hanks was in it, too.
Weird, man.

Goddamnit.
Why is it that I am so talented, morally consistent and physically awe-inspiring?
I'll never find a partner this way.

...Not that I'm looking, of course. That would be below me.

In regular news:
The interview went horribly wrong. They'd already picked someone else by the time I got there.
Back to looking for data entry jobs for a bit.

My friend Dan just...

I hate getting inspired sometimes.
I do love my friend here, who challenges me and tells me that I'm her last hope. That I'm the only friend she has that still spends so much time talking about a better world.
It's just that we can never decide on what to do about it.

We admit that humans are not designed to think long-term, and even...

I had a similar argument with my father a while ago, and we concluded that the only approach with any sort of hope of working was a religion.
