Congrats on a homeowning, car paid off, bestest boyfriend, cool job year.

There are a handful of things that keep me sending in my 6 bucks or so a month. The All Your Base group is high on that list. I seriously need some good laughs everyday or I feel like I wasted it.

I think feeling uncomfortable in my skin is becoming a theme for my thirties. I always get that longing feeling when I don't have a love interest in my life but I'm never sure if one is related to the other. Just not being in a relationship can't be that pivotal to my everyday mood, can it? It seems like silly nonsense to think that way. The romantic in me doesn't ever see it that way, though.

Don't let the friend thing get you down. It's surprising the people that come and go throughout a lifetime. I've lost contact or had falling outs with friends I though would be with me for the rest of my life and had what I thought were simply mere acquaintances turn into some of the most amazing friends I have ever had. Human nature and interaction is a strange and unpredictable thing.

I've made a few treks through my old journals over the years I've been on here and it's strange reading about the things I used to think and feel when I joined. My life has reshaped itself in such a dramatic way since joining it's almost like reading the events of a different person.

Winter is creeping around the edges up here in MN too. We've had a couple of snowfalls that melted pretty quickly bt that won't last much longer. It looks like it will be an early winter this year. Apparently mother nature doesn't think six months is long enough.
