I need to reiterate how cool my life is. I'm the eternal Lost Boy. I play and have fun. I work and have fun.

I'm this way because of my parents and my attention deficit.
My parents were crazy(no, really crazy) and the ADD made me not sweat the little stuff.

If I were an astronaut or a wondering poet or a garbage man, I'm sure I'd feel the same way.

That is an incredibly cool sentiment. And I think you probably do have a cool life. I wish I could blow stuff up at work! (Believe me, I have a whole list of things that would go if I thought I could get away with it!)
