Absence, hearts, etc.
A couple of friends were in town from Norfolk that I haven't seen in a while so we decided to party in the middle of the week. Everything about the idea seemed bad but I ignored my better judgment and had a great fucking time.
We started out bar hopping. There are a lot of bars here for a town of 4000 people.. (5, Yet the Hamilton County Fair Board won't allow an MMA event to take place here because it would give the town a bad name...but anyway..)
We picked people up at each bar and took them back to our friend Kyle's place, a way too small one bedroom apartment. Josh brought his guitar and everyone took turns playing it, whether they knew how to or not. I'm not much for playing in front of any amount of people but I was coerced, so I played Yesterday by The Beatles seeing I just recently learned it. Easily one of the best decisions I've made in life. Everyone sang along. Everyone! It was a really indescribable moment. I was pretty wasted so maybe I was just being hyper-sentimental but it's something I'll remember forever.
Had a strange chat with someone I probably shouldn't have..
Absence, hearts, etc.
Dead ends.
Didn't get to bed til 4am. Had to be to work at 8am. I'm sure I was still drunk for the first half of the day and flat out hung over for the last, which almost never happens but so inconveniently did.
Almost there, Friday. I've got no plans for the weekend and want to keep it that way.
We'll see.
