Having passion for more than one thing in life is difficult. There just isn't enough time. Not in any life, human or otherwise.

I'm a polymath.

Still, having passion for anything is better than not having any at all.

The next time I drink it will be to eternal life and hopefully irony will not smite me. I think I'll walk home that night.

Wow... I know exactly what you mean! and choosing one over the other is proving to be so so difficult! frown hope you make the right decision for yourself smile

Absence, hearts, etc.

A couple of friends were in town from Norfolk that I haven't seen in a while so we decided to party in the middle of the week. Everything about the idea seemed bad but I ignored my better judgment and had a great fucking time.

We started out bar hopping. There are a lot of bars here for a town of 4000...

Hi everyone!

Nothing has been out of the ordinary lately, unfortunately. I got a new, old car for $200 from a guy in Central City though! It's a 1977 Ford LTD. Easily the biggest 2 door car there ever is or will be. It even works! It's fun to ride around in because it totally has the pimp-mobile/ghetto cruiser vibe going on so people look...

Plans for today: Sleep in. FAIL! (8am)

Train with the Aurora Fight Team at 12:30. I found out Nate is fighting Cody from HKX (the gym I most regularly go to). It's next weekend and I really want to go but it's going to be awkward to watch two guys I know and train with fight. It's bad enough just training with both of them,...

Today I smashed my thumb in a horse trailer, ruined an entire batch of thin-set mortar I was going to use to level a shower base and discovered how much I suck at sawing things. For what it's worth though, getting off of work and being home feels so much better than it does most days.

Tomorrow I have to rough in a house, renew...

Tonight is family night: A full house, pizza, alcohol and nazi zombie movies! I'm so excited.

Somehow I've been convinced to go to church tomorrow morning. Last time I went was also on Easter to watch a church production of the crucifixion/resurrection of Jesus. The guy who played the role of Jesus looked like Claudio Sanchez from Coheed & Cambria.

As they walked down the...

He's got balls that's for sure. I have been a GSP fan forever, but I wasn't blown away by Georges performance at all. To go 5 rounds with GSP is quite the feat, but neither of them seemed to be at their best. I can't wait to see Hardy in the cage again!

i wish i saw an easter play with the coheed guy as jesus

Too exhausted to make the most of a Friday night so I'm going to stay home and watch Dead Man. I thought I'd seen every Depp movie but this one managed to stay under my radar for 15 years.
oliviabolivia:
Ahhhaaa!

I'm not sure how to keep this short

I had a perfectly safe trip to Minnesota which was slightly disappointing. My luggage did get lost somewhere between Omaha and Des Moines but they were really good about getting it back to me quickly.

I met up with my friend in Minneapolis and checked into our hotel then headed for the MoA. I won't talk about...

Up until a couple of years ago all you needed was a drivers liscence to cross over into Canada from MN. At least you came up here during the start of our warmer weather.
maleficus:
Agreed! From what I heard I managed to dodge Nebraska's last bout of snow and quite a bit of rain. The weather there was surprisingly nice, especially after hearing about the extreme sub zero weather you guys get.

Not a whole lot to report over the past couple of days as life has been abruptly drab.

I finally finished helping my cousin build the upper deck in his warehouse which was a first for me. It was a pretty fun time and didn't take nearly as much time or effort as I thought it would. I didn't get any pay for it because...

My stomach feels funny. I'm not sure if it's because I'm so excited or because my french toast was poisoned.

I'm planning a trip to International Falls, MN to visit my best friend growing up, who I haven't seen in more than a decade. We were reunited by the internet's uncanny ability to teeter between being informative and invading one's privacy. It's a good thing...
