My stomach feels funny. I'm not sure if it's because I'm so excited or because my french toast was poisoned.
I'm planning a trip to International Falls, MN to visit my best friend growing up, who I haven't seen in more than a decade. We were reunited by the internet's uncanny ability to teeter between being informative and invading one's privacy. It's a good thing there aren't any people I don't want to find me.
We've been talking about visiting for around a month now and in that 4 week time span so many obstacles have popped up. Between his car breaking down, my car needing a new set of tires, his hyperjealous babymama and a laundry list full of other equally retarded issues, it almost seemed like it wasn't going to happen. In the end though it's all working out fine and it's a great reminder that if you really want something you can make it happen.
It would be nice to get my passport so we could go to Canada, seeing as it's a 5 minute trip but the likelihood of that happening in...8 days is not a likelihood at all. I'm looking forward to a great time, regardless.
